The FU @ WC game has been postponed to next Monday.

For conversation purpose let's assume (taking a chance) Webster comes out of the SLIAC. It's my opinion that Nick Jones and Drew Moore will need to come up big. I'm worried that whoever they run into will have a dominate post. As a freshmen is Huskey up to that type of challange. And, what is the latest status on Kuehl.

In the one that got away for FU. Mary Hardin started true 6'10 and 6'7. Jones and definately Drew Moore have the strength to bang with bigger. Even in the zone, a good team will exploit a size advantage if there is one.

Best thing about having the tourney at the Gorlok Dome, it's a lot easier to make it look like a packed Gym.

During the years this site has existed, it has been a source of information on SLIAC basketball, even when I was living in St. Louis and seeing ten-twelve SLIAC games each season. Now that I live almost 800 miles away, it has been even more important to me.

However, much of the enjoyment this year has been diminished by a poster who seems only to care about down-grading Lee McKinney and Fontbonne. Even though he occasionally throws in a back-handed compliment, it is obvious that he has a personal vendetta against Coach McKinney and the Fontbonne program.

If you coach long enough (and I know from personal experience because I was a DII head coach for 31 years) you will have teams that don't play hard all of the time, or players who are a chore to handle. Even the esteemed Rich Grawer had a player walk off the floor to the dressing room in the middle of a game his last year at SLU.

Lee McKinney needs no defense from me but I wish all of the posts on this site were about basketball and not a continual attack on one coach and one program.

YJak - Check programing on their website. Also, I'm sure the WU SID has received an email for rescheduling.

Thanks Coach and Congrats.

Where is all the snow and ice?  to work or not????

Tough loss for Mac.... a nine point lead at half turns into a 9 point loss.... looks like they had a horrible shooting night, especially from 3's, going 7 for 25... and shooting that many 3's means they must have been ineffective going inside... Spalding eventually wins it from the foul line going 26 for 32, McAfee is 14 for 15 from the line, and the team shoots just under 50% from the field for the night.... tough to beat...   I knew Spalding would be good this season, but they really have surprised me....hope the schedule allows me to see them before the end of the year.....  and what a shame they can't play in the Sliac tourney...... Would add so much to it.........

BIG uhoh... Dylan Burton not in the boxscore....  I mentioned there were some words on the bench over at Westmin, but it appeared to be cleared up in the 2nd half... let's hope just a case of the flu.. it would really hurt the Mac program and the SLIAC if they lost a frosh at this talent level.....  and obviously hope it's not an injury type thing as we come down the stretch......
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Couldn't locate anything on the KSDK website, but sometimes on these websites finding a particular story is a challenge. Denny, if you find something please post a link. Also, nothing on the Webster website mentioning a story to come.

Thanks JWJ. It must not have aired with the sports as I was on another station for the first part of the 6pm broadcast.

As expected, games scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night have been postponed or cancelled per the SLIAC.org site... Webster at Mo S&T is cancelled, Prin at Blackburn moved to Thursday, Greenville at Eureka moved to Thursday, Fontbonne at Westmin out to next Monday. Mac at Concordia still listed as tomorrow night, but I  seriously doubt it.....

Fair enough, but lets also back off calling out other schools players by name and ripping into them. And by the way Dennis you tell me to "be a man" and come to you face to face. Dennis, you need to take note of my screen name and brush up on your basketball history. I would still like to know where you have coached as an "assistant" all these years.

I could care less about your knowledge of basketball history. I said If YOU have a personal problem with Me or My Dad. Be a man and look me up. I'll answer any question you got.

Instead you've tried your best to smear a Lifetime of Achievements, with a bunch of partial knowledge, second hand information and plain BS.

You know my story. A previous poster asked why you wouldn't share yours.

Get a life pal.
