Yes, a loss for Webster and the SLIAC.. Tom Hart is a great guy... would always go out of his way to come into the stands and speak with me regarding SLIAC hoops...  I could ask questions and always get honest answers... I'll miss him

Best of luck down South Tom.... I'll have to put Berry on my travel schedule!! ;D ;D
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Macmurray has hired a new AD.  http://www.sliac.org/Releases/2013-14/generalmcclure0715

Rather strange situation... Pavlovich leaves MacMurray to go to Bethany (Ks) (NAIA Bethany), displacing McClure, who shortly thereafter gets Pavlovich's vacated position at MacMurray....  hope it works out for both individuals...

I wonder which school gets the player to be named later.

Hopefan - No news from your Webster contacts on this years recruiting class? It seemed to me you were tight with Coach Bunch.

C'mon Denny. You're the one with the connections and the info. Tell us what you know.

Denny McKinney

Sorry Yjak. Connections aren't what they use to be. I do know they got a 6'4 kid from Pattonville HS. I'm not in email touch with the coaches like Hopefan.

Well, that's more than I know and I'm betting it's more than hopefan knows at this point. As you might be aware, Coach Bunch is hesitant to be specific about who is coming in until they are officially enrolled and on campus. That makes sense to me because things can change at the last minute. And what difference does it really make if we have information in the summer about who new players are at the various schools. There's plenty of time to speculate about the forthcoming season once rosters are posted. And that speculation isn't really important. All that matters are the games themselves.

Ok Yjak. It was a dumb question. :o

Well, it's not a dumb question for the people who are interested in discussing and speculating about the upcoming season. Lots of people do that on lots of boards. But I'm generally not inclined to get into that. Hope I didn't offend you. That's not what I was trying to do.

This is a little late but being basically a 19th century guy I don't have a laptop and so there were a lot of items to catch up on when I returned from our annual four week trip to Northern Michigan.

The departure of Tom Hart is an incalculable loss to both Webster and the SLIAC. Tom, more than anybody in the conference, was tuned in to the direction of D3 and what the SLIAC needed to do to keep pace. He had contacts all over the country and the success of the Webster program is due mostly to him.

He was not perfect, and had his detractors, but he will be sorely missed, especially by Webster but also by the SLIAC. The best of everything to him and congratulations to Berry on a great choice.

New look Red Devils this year.  Not a lot of info, but looks like Marious and Marquis Lobdell are on board, both coming from Aurora U.

Marious: 6' 0" guard, AU's leading scorer last year at 16 ppg
Marquis: 6' 3" forward, bench player averaging 6.6 ppg and 4 rpg

Well Hello Coach. Hope you and the family are doing well. How is the golf game doing?
