I'm really regretting that I asked Denny for that explanation.

It's all good Yjak. You have a FU poster back on the board. I hope you can find my response through the rest of the mess. And, it was just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Writeup on Fonbonne hoops page regarding Thursday Night at Chaifetz vs SLU   7:00 PM

PLEASE... let's get a Cardinal sweep of games 5 & 6 so the Griffs
aren't opposite Game 7   !!!!!!

Fontbonne Men's Basketball to Face SLU in Exhibition Game Oct. 31
St. Louis- The Fontbonne Men's Basketball team will face the 2012-2013 Atlantic 10 Conference Champions on Thursday, October 31st when they take on the St. Louis University (SLU) Billikens for an exhibition game. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm at the Chaifetz Arena.

This will mark the second consecutive year that the Griffins have played a Division I opponent. Last season Fontbonne played the University of Tennessee-Martin in an exhibition game.

The Billikens are coming off a 28-7 season, and were ranked as high as No. 13 in the country. They captured the Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season and tournament titles. St. Louis also received a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament, and defeated New Mexico State in the second round before falling to Oregon in the round of 32.  Heading into this season, SLU is ranked pre-season 17th by The Sporting News.

The Billikens return first team All-Atlantic 10 performer Dwayne Evans, as well as Jordair Jett who was tabbed third-team All-Atlantic 10. Evans averaged 14 points and 7.7 rebounds per game last season. Jett, who was also named to the A-10 defensive team, averaged 9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and led the team in assists with 112. The Billikens return seven of their top ten players from a year ago.

Head coach Steve Schafer is very excited about the opportunity to play St. Louis this season, "It's not every day that a school at our level has the opportunity to play a top 25 Division I program like SLU. We are very gracious to Coach Crews and his staff for providing our players the opportunity to play his team in a very special and unique atmosphere. This will be an experience that our players will cherish and remember forever."

A charter bus will meet on campus in front of the gym to take faculty, students and staff to Chaifetz Arena.

Tickets for the event may be purchased in the Fontbonne Athletic Office. $10 for students, $15 for non-students. Email ahall@fontbonne.edu or call 314-889-1444.

AARH is a female, Denny. That's been pointed out here in the SLIAC room more than once. Perhaps this website will help to remind you of that.

Mr. Sager - I know what I said. Are you going to point this out to the other comment? Or just mine?

Hey, at least hopefan had enough of a vague recollection that AARH was female for him to hedge his bet in his 10:05 post yesterday. I give him half credit. ;)

I am very familiar with the "Redheads". My mother- in - law was recruited to play for them. But, Hey thanks for your time.

Your putting all your eggs in a User Name basket.

I have no idea what "Your [sic] putting all your eggs in a User Name basket" is supposed to mean.

Really, Denny, I'm stumped as to why you're being so combative. I simply pointed out that AARH is a woman because ... well, because it's really a matter of basic decency to remember such things about people, especially people who've frequented this site for a long time (as she has). I linked to the Redheads site because it's kinda cool, and because I thought it would help you remember that she's a woman.

If that got your nose out of joint, I'm sorry. I just think that remembering details like whether a poster is a man or a woman is the right thing to do.

I don't think I mentioned your name in my post to AARH last nite. I said exactly what I meant. I do not believe I needed any clarification from you. IMO

Gregory Sager

Well, you got her gender wrong, so you did need clarification.

AARH's gender has always been speculation, based on the User name. You have your opinion and I have mind. My nose is find Mr. Sager. My problem is there was no need for your imput.

I'll say it one more time, slowly. Your opinion is based on an anonymous User Name. Nothing more. If you choose to consider the User's gender as be female, that's strictly speculation on your part. Am I right? It would of been just fine for the purpose of the discussion if you just didn't interject. That's all I'm trying to say. It just seems to be your M.O.
