the streak moves to 56. final 74 63

+1 for going to what may have been the least interesting matchup in St. Louis all season, at least among casual fans. You are the ultimate SLIAC superfan.

And a fine meal I had with my quick winnings!!!! ;D ;D ;D

But too late to stop on the way back as early as I get up in the morning

By the way.. don't take a wrong turn on the roads of the Principia campus...took me 10 minutes to find my way out... nearly drove right into a field in my meanderings... Yjak, I needed a navigator!!!!!

I always look at Google maps before going to Prin and zoom in on the campus to refresh my memory of which roads to take to get to the gym and back out to the main road.

Mac cruises past Knox 94-69... led in scoring by Dylan Guthrie and Hunter Sutton with 15 a piece.

Eureka crushed by Central 108-68..... Central shoots 60%, Eureka shoots 35%..  7 of 24 from 3's

This was not pretty, EC was badly outplayed in every phase of the game.  Way too many points in the paint (52) and uncontested open looks.  Things do not get easier as EC has to trudge to Macomb tonight to play D-1 WIU.

On another, unrelated-to-basketball-note.  The EC community was heavily affected by the tornadoes, as Washington is only 7 miles or so from campus.  The WCHS football team plays in the state semifinal game this Saturday--many of those players have lost their homes.  Those players will be practicing on the EC field today and the Chicago Bears will wear their logo in some form for this weekend's game.  Darrell Crouch, the WCHS football coach, is the former EC head coach, current EC basketball player Nick Finney is from Washington, WCHS head basketball coach Kevin Brown is an EC alum--there are hundreds of more connections to this tragedy, both direct and indirect--keep the community in your thoughts.

THAT would boggle my mind... are you sure it's not some funky ESPN offshoot, as compared to ESPN2?  MOST EVERYONE GETS ESPN2...   I just checked... not on ESPN2 or ESPN3... sorry GC, it just didn't make sense....

Was looking at Prin's schedule...  next seven games seem to offer Prin a heavy underdog role... (William Woods 0-3 but all close, Millikin, Spalding, MacMurray, Westminster, and Loras),  until Iowa Wesleyan and Blackburn back to back on Jan 9, Jan 11....  we needed that one against Pharma... now then, I did hear that Larry Patterson was expected to return 2nd semester.. he was on the bench the other night, but I was told he would not be playing... if the current guys can keep it together until then, the addition of Patterson could push them over the hump against IWC or BC.

Incidently, Justin Ball of Prin is the real deal.. 16 rebounds against Pharma... and once he got into the flow, he showed he could score too...  As long as he doesn't get into foul trouble.. he is tall, and wide.... and athletic....

agree it's very odd, just reading the tv schedule.  they have it listed on the deuce for 8pm, but also have the IU v Washington game listed there at 9pm.  I'll tune in just to see if its an hour worth of filler anyway.

Logic would tell me that IU vs. U of W would trump WIU vs. Eureka...My local cable schedule makes no mention of the latter matchup at all on the deuce.

Good Luck this weekend to the Griffins'. Then you got a big break till the BC @ Home game. Good Luck to ALL the Sliac schools who are traveling.
