He has stuck with the same 9-10 players for his rotation.  Some players have basically disappeared.   Riechart Tucker Guinn and Justice havent seen much time.  And now dornhauer isnt even on bench.   I  think someone mentioned they need to start to gel.  That is the coaches responsibliity. Continue to mix up line up.  Most of all, start playing some hard nose defense.  way to many open shots are given up without a defender nearby.  Cant keep doing what they are doing or the loses will pile up

Predictions:

ILWU 94 BC 60
EC 73 WC 70
Illinois Tech 83 IAWU 62 (total guess)
EC 84 Loras 80
WU 89 Monmouth 84
Transy 90 Spalding 70

EC lost at Monmouth by 3 in OT -- first game of the season when the Lobdells were playing, scoring 50 points between them. Webster just lost at EC in OT -- no Lobdells. Other than home court advantage, what are the factors you think will help Webster beat Monmouth?

50 points on 9 of 24 shooting from Marious.  I think the current version of EC is a little better than the one that played MC due to having more shot selection discipline per possession and a little better paint defense.  Even with some really sloppy play, EC should have won that game.  If you can contain Marema, there isn't much else to really bother a good team.  These factors and the fact the MC has put up some questionable results, i.e. too-close games against Beloit and a bad Knox team, lead me to think that Webster will have a slight advantage, especially at home.  I think Huskey and Miller can do some work against this team.

Thanks, ec. I'll be there Friday and maybe post a brief report, although I'll leave much of the more astute game analysis to hopefan, if he is at the game, since he is more qualified to do that.

Well JoeVegas, I agree need to find out what all can give you. Unfortunately, Riechert, Quinn and Tucker play same positions as DeGeare and Greenlee. Would like to see another 6'8 kid like Tucker get some minutes, but when he has it's been zero production. The Big Boy is still waiting for that first rebound to fall his way. I like what we have seen from Riechert, so far. Justice and Quinn must not be getting it done in practice! Otherwise, considering this season, we would of seen more of them. Some guys take longer to adjust to the college game.

I'm sure Coach Schafer is as frustrated as we are. I'm pretty sure he would try anybody that could help. We'll see what a good home cooked meal does for all these boys. New Year will hopefully bring better results.

Trying to adjust the rabbit ears on my WC video feed.  Doesn't appear to be doing any good. Tinfoil, maybe.

Home now.... Defense won it for Westminster...Eureka never got closer than 15, and so many times, particularly in the first half, had the shot clock go down and had to force bad shots....

Big win on the road. IWC beats someone they should. And, pretty dominant. Good Win Boys.

To be honest, though, there's probably intramural teams at SLIAC schools that could beat IIT. The Scarlet Hawks are beyond dreadful. They've even lost two games to a club team from Northeastern Illinois University, a school that has no athletic department.
