Well Bunchtime! Call Cavello Bus, your Food Servis and a local Law Firm. You will be a Hero and give the Boyz the experience the Rest Get.

You Da Man!!!

BunchTime

If I'm organizing it, we're getting a party bus (bachelor party style) and gonna tailgate on the way! Maybe even slap my law firm logo on the side of the bus, which would make it a tax write-off!  ;D

You've made me laugh so much today, I'm need to give you Karma for a week. Plus, Lil' Brother got a career milestone high 21st win in the 1st Rd. of Districs. Been since '08-'09 since the family had A 20 win season. Now if Dino could go on a 20 game a season win streak for 33 yrs he'd still be a little shy of Pops. Haha But you can't smack a smile off a McKinney' face, even if you tried. We're Basketball Silly!!!!!!!! ;D

Where did Hopefan go? The way the +K's have been flying I was sure he'd join the party. Maybe tomorrow with his team match ups. ??? :P Or, maybe he saw the size of Mrs. Hopefan's Honey Do List, now that he is retired. ;)

I'm going to think that in the excitement of the NCAA tourney starting tonight (mostly tomorrow night), not many people that follow D3 regions west of Pennsylvania noticed that there were 9 games last night in the ECAC tourney... the ECAC covers schools from New England, down thru Pennsylvania and Maryland... they have a 'runners up' tourney each year.. it doesn't play to one winner, rather it's split into 4 regions and they finish with 4 winners.. basically a quick 2 or 3 game one short week tourney.. but it does give teams that missed the NCAA tourney a chance to play a little more... what a shame that D3hoops or some other group couldn't expand on this to include schools from all over the country and play to a champion... would give schools that had good records a chance to show how they could compete on a national level.. ie, this year, Chicago, Spalding, Carthage, MSOE, Depauw, Mt Union, Marietta, Bethany to name a few, not even delving into the South or West.....

Approximately 20 teams from the east get this opportunity each year... a shame there is no similar organization for the rest of the country...

Before someone else shoots this all down, I'm well aware cost is the major factor...and I'm aware that in previous years some schools have turned down invitations to the year end ECAC weekend tourneys because of cost...
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Hopefan. Disappointed. We had a Great Day of discussion on Going to the Dance. WUH and Bunchtime gave us incite to Webster's Way. Yjak gave us the RM take. I thru in some FU stories. We waited for you to tell us how it is done back East? Nice story about what u watched last nite. But, you don't feel like joining our discussion?

I for one will be happy to address the NIT topic. But, after we get worn out by enthusiasm or the GorLok's get de-railled from their set goal of reaching "Salem".

Here is a link to the IWU NCAA Tournament web page.  It contains links to Directions to IWU Shirk Center; all four teams (Team Page, Roster, Stats and Conference links), Live Stats, Live Video and Live Audio (IWU games WJBC Radio).

Parking - IWU starts its Spring Break Friday March 7th so parking should not be a problem.  There are two large parking lots - one next to Shirk Center and one across the street.

1 day away, folks!  Webster will leave today at noon and practices at Illinois Wesleyan at 4:30.

Roll call -- who is going to the game?  The infamous Daryl L Lloyd and I will be in attendance.

Bunchtime - An exciting HS run will have me at Borgia for a Big Franklin County match up. But, I'll have the game on my Mom iPad. Hope Coach has noticed Nelson's shot selection. Like at 150+ fga and 120+ from 3's. Got to extend or force him to drive into the trees. Sodermann and Dolan, also. In whatever defense they play, they need to guard the line.

I hope you and D party like Rockstars!!!!! Plan on being around for the weekend. Then if they end up next weekend at Wash U, I'll be there sporting a WU shirt for the first time. Go Get ya some Boyz.

We're planning on doing a little pre-game and post-game damage at the local watering holes!

Nelson's numbers are interesting.  He had an injury to start the season and really did not see playing time until mid-December.  His season average is 10.7 but average over last 8 games 15.4 - not too bad for a come off the bench guy.  His sweet spot is from anywhere in the gym.

I pondered making the drive but have decided against it. Will follow the game as best I can from Saint Louis.

Best wishes and good luck to the Gorloks. You've got the right stuff. Employ it properly and victory is possible.

BT - you guys are going to be Cocktailing in a College Town. You need to Tan, loose fitting shirt and a Ball Cap. OR, flash a large Money Clip!!! Even though I don't drink, I'd love to be right in the middle of it all with you and D. You think after a Sat. Nite Win, we could get Chris to join you guys at Hotel Bar. Buy me a Makers Mark ( 2 fingers and 3 rocks ) and just place it on the bar. In My Honor. Haha
