This story on Webster University sophomore Dominic Newton is very cool and worth the read.

Note, this article written by same fellow that wrote the 'D3 Sports Matter' article that was ridiculed on these pages for its inaccuracies. Hope we can trust this article!!😄

That guy is a one-man sports department.  And, he deserves a lot of credit for covering every sport for a newspaper that is probably not read by many students.  He even live blogs basketball games.

Holy Smokes... I just noticed Mike Bushong has retired from the head coaching position at Principia... What a great way to go out with those 2 wins last week... Such a tough job being able to only bring in kids related to Christian Science, but wow, what a returning nucleus if only 3 or 4 recruits could be found to fill the bench.... Great opportunity for young Todd Zimmerman if he gets the head job....

I am a just little surprised to see Shea Feehan on the first team over Fowler, Ward and maybe Trisko, but what do I know?  The games I watched were almost entirely non-conference and games such as IWU over Maryville are fresh in my mind.

I definitely stayed away from writing up what I perceived as negative factors that might have kept certain individuals off the first team....

My only observation about these teams is that you've cited predominantly offensive statistics, except for rebounding which tends to be more of a defensive stat. Did you factor any "intangibles" or defensive strengths into your thought process? If not why not?
