If Eureka hosts, I may make a trip down there it's a manageable 4 hrs.

Here's my question for the day: Having just taken part in the 2017 Viking Hall of Fame ceremony this past weekend (yeah, it was a couple of months late, but it had to be moved back because it had originally been scheduled for the December weekend that the NPU men's soccer team was in the Final Four in North Carolina), it's got me to wondering ...

Why doesn't the CCIW have a Hall of Fame?

The SLIAC has one, and that league honors its new inductees as part of the annual SLIAC sports banquet in May. The SLIAC hasn't even been around for three decades yet; the CCIW charter was signed while Hiroshima was still radioactive and Sid Luckman was quarterbacking the Bears. Some might want to argue that this league's long and high-achieving history really ought to be honored properly with a CCIW Hall of Fame. Others might disagree.

Thoughts?

And Wow... the Dean of all D3hoops.com posters (at least in my mind) suggesting that the CCIW emulate the SLIAC in its HOF establishment.... I'm proud!!

Hey, a good idea is a good idea ... even if it did come from a bunch of Cardinals fans. ;)

Ha. You can thank Fantasy Leagues for that. It's opened my eyes past, not only the WIAC, but the other "big conferences" and has me more interested in smaller, lesser known conferences and teams like the SLIAC and my favorite player from last year, PS-Berks' Bubba Waples, among others. Besides, who can pass up a chance to see Kobe Wands, the System and Shea Feehan all in one night?

There's good hoops being played out here in the corn and soybean fields, but we've known that all along.

Gotta pull for the Gorlocks over Greenville, EC will take care of business at home, Shea is back...all is/will be well with the universe.  Otherwise, Greenville hosts both the men's and women's tourneys, although I'm making EC the favorite to win both no matter where they're played.

I suppose my decision to come down there would be a lot easier if Eureka DIDN'T host, then I know I wouldn't make it. But, alas, I'll cheer for them anyway. Besides, since I'm a Manchester United fan, I have to cheer for a fellow Red Devils team, right?

If you are coming from Central Wisconsin, then Greenville is only another two hours...

A few weeks ago I was looking at the schedule and had my home life been in better order this weekend, I would've driven to Chicago to see the Maroons play Friday night, stay somewhere over night, make the Principia game at 3 pm Saturday, then drive an hour to see the 6 pm Greenville game. Stay over night somewhere and then on the way back, stop and see Sunday afternoon's Wash U game...but it didn't work out...

Final day of the regular season, for some, the final day of a basketball career... Everyone play as hard as you can, go out with your heads up...

Thanks for another great season of SLIAC hoops.... this guy really appreciates it....

In Fantasy Land, it'll be sad not to see Butler, Davidson and Davis lighting up the boxscores next season. Sadly, today will be their last games.

Blackburn beats Westminster in OT, 82-75.... Eureka beats Fontbonne...

Blackburn and Westminster finish 10-8   Blackburn has beaten Westminster twice

Webster Greenville result is crucial

Greenville up on Webster by 18 at half... if this holds, Greenville 1st at 14-4, Eureka 2nd 13-5

Webster Westmin BC all 10-8...
But as we said.. BC over Westmin twice, BC split with Webster, Westminster over Webster twice.... amongst the 3, BC 3-1, Westmin 2-2, Webster 1-3... Webster eliminated..... then BC 3rd with sweep over Westmin, Westmin 4th...
If it's done a different way, someone will have to explain....

Just so I understand for sure - BC is in regardless of Greenville/Webster result, yes? Announcers in Blackburn/Westminster game said Blackburn needs Webster win, which I don't see as accurate...

I agree hoosiers, that Westmin announcer made it sound like that several times... Webster does lose....I can't see any way they are in using a normal tiebreaker scheme....I think Westmin announcer was incorrect....I'll try to get confirmation....

Official: Blackburn in as the 3 seed. One heck of a coaching performance for Kollar throughout this season... pre-season #9 (correct me if I'm wrong) makes the tournament at #3. Truly one of the bright young coaches in d3 hoops, in my opinion.
