Mac Attack

Fontbonne pushes the lead back to 15 - they're in.

Greenville ahead by two over Westminster with four minutes to play. Looks like that one will go down to the wire...

Mac Attack

Fontbonne wins. They're in.

Greenville leads 83-77 with less than a minute to play.

Mac Attack

Greenville wins 85-77.

Tournament is set.

MacMurray #2 vs. Eureka #3
Webster #1 vs. Fontbonne #4

Four very good teams. Anyone could win.

See you in St. Louis!

Eureka beats Prin 84-78. Prin lead several times in 2nd half, but I think 3 was the biggest lead. Peffer had 33, Tarpley had 17 and 17. Watts had 29 for Prin. More later.

Congrats to the 4 SLIAC finalists and their main supporters in the SLIAC postups - Webster and Yjak, MacMurray and Mac Attack, Eureka and Eureka  SID, and Fontbonne and FCnews.  Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday evening.  Also congrats to PantherPride on Greenville's win over Westminster - We'll all be rooting for Greenville's further success should they accept a bid to the NCCAA tourney as Panther mentioned previously.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Congrats to all the Sliac teams in the tourney, but most off thanks to the Blackburn Beavers for a good hard fought season. Even though we weren't in the same position as last year it was still a fun season. Special thanks to Zeb Hammond, Zak Allen, and Allen Dehority for their contributions. They will all be missed best of luck in the future fella's.

GO BEAVERS!
Go Beavers!

Where is my congrats hopefan?  Game #3 between Fontbonne and Webster should be a dandy!  This is a tough game for Webster as Fontbonne will look to avenge their loss from last week!  Also, as anyone knows, it is tough to beat any team 3 times much less your down-the-street rival!!  Not the #4 seed that Bunch probably wanted, but heck, at this time of the year, they are all tough to win!!

OH BOY !!! I'm glad that's over. Congrats GC and Pride. Good Luck in NCCA. Hey Bunchtime. Who would make better tournamnet Headquarters? Weber's or McClain's. Or pre game at Webers and post game at McClain's.

I guess since WU hosts that means Y_Jak is responsible for the hospitality room.

BunchTime

Pre-game I would recommend Webers because of proximity and it is pretty much on the campus of Webster!  Post-game I would say McClains!  Can't go wrong with either - I've had many fun nights in both!

Everyone else offering hospitality in earlier posts has some official connection with their school. I'm just a humble fan. Sorry fellas.

I'll post an itenerary of events I know of. "February Frenzy" will begin with a pregame at 3:30 Friday. A site to be named later.

Good season Blue Jays.  Wish some things could have worked out differently but overall I think it was a successful year!  Congrats to the teams that are left, they did what they had to do to get in, which is impressive in this very competitive conference.  Those of you who will be attending the tourney, have fun!  I hope whoever is best fit to win in the big dance wins the tournament.

Well, I happened to catch the Greenville-Westminster game, and it was a good one. It was full of momentum changes with the excitement never stopping. West and Atchison seemed not to be able to miss from the three-point line. Davis dominated the paint for Westminster. Taylor for Greenville did his normal thing. Overall, I think the panthers did a solid job of keeping Westminster from taking the lead or ever gaining permanent momentum. The ability to do that is definitely something they will need going into the NCCAA tourney. Congrats out to them though and good luck.

I talked to one of the Westminster players tonight.  Good friend of "the godfather" and said he enjoys my post.  :)  More funny and awkward greetings from people who read our matieral here!  Always great!

Yes, tonight's game was a thriller.  Greenville stepped up when they needed.  George Atchison, hometown hero, really came out and played well.  Taylor shined tonight.  Mutton fouled out (nothing new) but got an amazing standing "O" when we went out of the game.

Panthers head to the NCCAA possibly.  Depends on the travel.  More than likely, we will go though.  I'll keep you all posted on here.  I'd love to be at the SLIAC tourney this weekend.  Track as me at Taylor University for the NCCAA National Track & Field Championships.  Ugh!!!

Keep me updated w/ Text on Fri & Sat!  I'm going to be partial and not pick a winner. :)
