Dang I had my hopes up that Jenkins was back playing.  Kind of interesting that it showed Jenkins playing 2 mins and 1 personal foul.  Did someone do that for a joke?

Uneven game from the refs.

Coach Semling said that the game was called really loose in the first half and somebody got a concussion...  Do you know who it was?

Then, in the second half, they called it really close.

Jordan Brezinski got nailed with an elbow to the face and went down hard after a made basket. I didn't catch it from the start, so it was likely inadvertent.

I'm waiting on a text from a good friend who hangs out with Jenkins to see if he knows.  It has to be an error.  Last I heard he was playing for the Scandinavia Vikings BABA team on Saturdays along with Former great Steve Hicklin.

Any word if Culy is going to play tonight against River Falls?  He has had some great games at the Karges Center in the past.

Some crazy results tonight....

SP destroyed WW 85-59.  And it wasn't that close.  SP led 40-20 at the half and just rolled from there.

Oshkosh destroyed EC 83-58.  Oshkosh made 29/30 FT's

Stout held on and beat LaX 98-93.  Some unbelievable numbers in this game... Mane had 39, just 1 turnover, in the last 4 seconds of the game, down 3.  Stout had 5 in double digits, let by Pax with 23, LaX had 4 in double figures.  LaX was 24/26 from the FT line, Stout was 23/25

And Superior led for the last 7:30 of the first half and the first 16 minutes of the second half (except for 4 ties) but never more than 5 and they can't hold on and lose to RF 62-59.

I just looked at the SP/WW box score... no Scott Hoelzel.  I didn't get to listen to the broadcast, just live stats... anybody have any info on that?

It was actually Wojahn that sustained the concussion, which is why he didn't play tonight against Eau Claire (not that they needed him.)

I obviously wasn't there... but I was under the impression that an SP guy got hurt too.  Not sure who, but since Hoelzel didn't play, maybe him?

PS, If a Pointer was injured in Oshkosh, it might have been Jordan B.  He scored a basket, turned to go up the floor and took a forearm to the face.  It laid him out flat and shortly after that, it looked like he took another good shot to the head or face.  I don't think he played at all in the 2nd half.  It looked to be a very physical game from the stands.  Also, it looked like there were nearly as many Pointer fans there as there were Oshkosh fans.
The Pointer announcer made a comment that Scott H. was back in Point sick.   I was at the women's game so I only listened to only a few minutes of the men's game and don't know if anything else was said.

JB came out immediately after the blow to the head and never returned.

That's right, I remember you saying that now.  And it sounds like Hoelzel was just sick.
