I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say his future isn't in the NFL!

It's a long season.  Obviously he has the skill to be considered for the NFL.  I hope he continues to pursue his dream.

I'm new here - obviously.  Why is Whitewater the men's BB favorite this coming year?

So far only Shine Time has annointed the WARHAWKS favorites.  As a supporter of the program I'm only certain that we'll be competitive and in the mix.

The fact of the matter is that Whitewater is almost always in the mix these days... as is Stevens Point.  In the past 12 seasons (since '99-'00), Whitewater has won at least a share of the conference title 5 times, including 3 of the last 6.  Point has won at least a share 8 of the last 12.

Point has taken or shared 2nd in the other 3 seasons... with one third.  Whitewater has 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 4ths, and one 8th (back in 99-10).

Go to http://www.uwrfsports.com/news/2011/8/17/MBB_0817113948.aspx for info on two transfers to Falcon bb program. One, the second leading scorer and best free thrower in the MIAC last season, averaging almost 18 a game, should be significant.

Will both of those guys have Junior eligibility FF?

They both look like they may be impact players.

The kid from Augustana played only one year, 2009-10. He red shirted the year before, and did not play last year. He averaged less that two points per game. I'm not sure about his impact. But both have two years left and are eligible immediately.

... I read the article wrong... I saw that he played in 48 collegiate games and averaged 10 ppg.  It was 10 minutes per game.

And he did actually play last year... he averaged 6 minutes as a freshman per game and 10 minutes last year (saw action in all 27 games).

Is Kincaid at Point not a big deal or what?  Don't know much about him but heard he's taking a summer class to be eligible to be a Point.  Anyone know about him???

Any news on the hunt for a new assistant coach?

Kincaid is a big kid who can play, but he didn't seem very motivated at La Crosse.
