UW-Stout unveiled the new mascot this past football season and now he is being given a name via Facebook voting.

I humbly suggested BlueDevil Bob.   ;D

Give us the facebook link and we can all vote for Blue Devil Bob!  Seriously.  I will!

Anyone else looking forward to the Stout/Oshkosh game saturday? Something's gotta give!!!

Greek Tragedy

I'm interested to see how many Stout comes with! LOL  ::)

Steve Pax, as reported, could be out for the year.  He started 10 of 11 games he played and averaged 8.1 pts a game, 4th on the team.  He was 2nd in 3-pters made with 12.

Jarvis Ragland is no longer with the team.  He started 11 of the 12 games he played, averaged 12.2 points a game, in addition, hitting 11 treys, good for 3rd on the team.

Carter Ciolkosz is also gone.  He was 3rd in scoring and hit 13 from beyond the arc, good for 1st.  He was 2nd in shot attempts.

Erik Olson is hurt now.  he started all 12 games he played and lead the team in minutes played.  He leads the team in assists by a large margin, as well as steals.

At least they got Alex Oman back!

So if anyone is in the Appleton area on Friday or the Milwaukee/Waukesha area on Saturday, Grinnell will be playing Lawrence on Friday night and Carroll Univ. on Saturday at 3 pm.  Some refer Grinnell as "the Circus".  I find them entertaining.  So, if "your" team isn't around, I would say it's worth a look.  I'll probably try to make at least one of those games.

What happened to Ciolkosz or Ragland for Stout?  Grades?  Quit?  Seems like Stout could have some firepower if all 3 were playing, and all are young too.

Ragland is done due to grades.

Ciolkosz is suspended for 6 more games I think.

Oh, I guess I'll take the coach's word over stoutfan1.  Sorry stoutfan1, no disrespect.

I'd believe the coach too. :)

Carter having 4 games left sounds right, I  wasn't positive on how many games he had left.

Ragland could have taken classes over winter break to try and get his GPA up so he is eligible to play. I'll double check with some people and see what really is going on with him.

It seems as if Ragland is taking a class currently and planning on playing starting with the River Falls game..... same time goes for Carter.

RF 88, EC 76. Peterson w/36 led EC, while 5 guys were in double figures for RF. White had 25 on 7/10 shooting and 11/15 f.t. Guerin had 15 and 12 rbds. Manor had 15, Zac Peterson and Brian Kimble each had 10.

EC does not start a senior, and are weak in the middle. Still, RF could never put them away even tho they once led by 19.

WW box doesn't list him, but Sup box score has him playing 14 min.
