Adrian needs to get picked up by a WIAC school at some point right? Seems like the guy is always a finalist but hasn't gotten a head gig yet. Maybe an NCAA appearance will get him over the hump.

And a VICTORY over a WIAC team...

Matt Siverling had eight wins over WIAC teams,

Anyone know what the scoop is in Oshkosh?

I would not be at all surprised if Todd Adrian and MSOE guy will both be after Oshkosh hard as well.  Not sure about the other too.

Does anyone think Dave Buchanan will go after Oshkosh?

I've heard that Siverling is the front runner at UWEC.

Also, look for the Oshkosh coaching position not to be filled until after July 1.  Budget issues.

Was just surfing and found the UWEC Basketball candidate videos.

Here is the link for the UWEC Basketball Coach Search & Screen Media Interviews - the videos can be found in middle of the page under the Videos section.

Interesting - maybe this will get the board buzzing for the week.  Any thoughts??

As long as people continue to believe that anyone can coach - They will also continue to believe that anyone can criticize a coach.

I like Drake.  He brings some personality to the position.  I don't get that from the other candidates at all.  I think the next coach has to have that so they can get some buzz going around the community for the program.

Dan Studer is indeed on his way to Point next year.  Some more size, 6'7" glue guy that played on an undefeated State Championship team.  That makes it 3 guys ranked in the top 50 Seniors in the state along with a D1 transfer in this recruiting class.

And the new coach is...Matt Siverling

I know that Siverling has pretty deep UWEC connections, but does this move strain things between EC and UW Super?

I don't know how moves like this work within a conference.

Add some more strain.  Eric Gardow will apply for Superior job and I'm betting he has a great chance to get it.  Won't that be fun watching all the EC, Stout, Sup. games sort themselves out.

When is the last time a head coach has moved within the WIAC conference to another school? Has not happened in my lifetime. Given Matt's professional demeanor, I'm sure he was upfront about the situation and UW-Superior maybe disappointed, but can they blame him? It's an ideal basketball job in the Northwest of Wisconsin.

Can Jerrel Harris and John Johnston come back to Point to please?  That's part of my christmas list.

How about Jerrel Harris and Jared Jenkins type players instead. I've heard that two recruits from the Chicago area will be joining the program as well. Kent Dernbach's time at NIU appears to have paid off. Don't know to much about them other than one is a 5'10" guard and the other a 6'4" forward who averaged a double-double his senior year.
