IMHO UWO at least got it right after an exhaustive process.  Either Juckem or Aanonsen would have been solid choices. 

Can Juckem salvage any type of a 2012 recruiting class?

Who's out there that they can get ... maybe a transfer or two from somewhere but wow ... most kids have decided where to go to school by now!

He'll have to play the hand he's dealt this year and then go from there next year. No chance to get anyone else at this point.

Mark Miller tweeted that he's getting a transfer from Upper Iowa.

Also, thanks to the committee and AD Darryl Sims. Great choice.

You didn't like the bonus carnival ride that you used to get with the price of admission? The administration and I thought that it would take a serious injury before the bleachers were dealt with. Those conversations were from 2005-07. Glad we were incorrect. Not entirely sure how major injuries were avoided, but the higher-ups at UWO have been concerned about Kolf seating for a long time – long before our conversations.

The seating/floor renovations were finally approved (for nearly $1.5 million) in 2010. A campus construction update said the bleachers weren't ADA compliant, and the floor hadn't been redone in 40 years. Better late than never. Then again UWO has upgraded other facets in the recent past (new and renovated housing, new Wellness Center, new academic building, new parking structure, new facilities management location, new pedestrian areas, etc.), but man, Kolf needed some work. Nothing on par with the floor and seating, but there are a few other things in the project that will also help clear the clutter.

Now let's get some lights at the baseball stadium. And this time don't leave it up to the baseball program to raise all of the funds, like it did with the Alumni Stadium construction project.

UW-O is getting a hell of a coach.  Ever since Pat left LU I knew he wanted to be back up in the area eventually, and after doing a great job at Coe, he got his chance.  Congrats to him.  I have no doubt UW-O will be back challenging Point and WW in a few years....
