So they grow them small out in big sky country?

Nephew played in ID so I watched a lot of games the past several years and went to the State Championships a few years as well so I've seen the best that 2A has to offer.  Pretty massive gap between ID 2A and the Warhawks.  Maybe in for a bit of  shock unless he was on a good AAU squad that played some decent competition.

The WARHAWKS have released their 2013-14 schedule.  In nonconference games they will host Hope, Alma and Edgewood while playing St Norbert, Beloit and two unnamed teams in the Carroll tournament on the road.

Any of the Eau Claire recruits from Illinois?

Any speculation on my part would merely be... speculation.

I haven't seen the list and don't subscribe to the Wis BB Yearbook anyway.

If I had to speculate, I would wager a guess that at least one is from Illinois and one is from Iowa, and two are from Minnesota.

That guess is purely going off the fact that Wisconsin borders Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota (with more from MN due to proximity and the fact that there were 3 guys from MN on last year's team).

Other guys could be from anywhere... maybe one from either Arkansas or Florida? Siverling was in both those states previously...

If you look at the make-up of the Superior roster: http://uwsyellowjackets.com/roster.aspx?path=mbball you can see a plethora of guys from elsewhere...

Siverling would/could have brought in guys who were sophomores or juniors on last year's team (and maybe freshmen?)

There're guys from Nevada, Arizona, Alabama, Illinois, and 5 from Minnesota.

Of course, Superior has differences in recruiting (location, size of school/offerings, but reciprocity with all 50 states).

So... yeah, no clue.

UWEC recruits

John Mattison from Rochester (MN) John Marshall High School. He's a 5'10"-6'0" guard.

Jared Schneiderman - Concordia Academy ( Roseville, MN)

Jack Martine - Irondale (MN)

Andrew Duxbury - Stillwater (MN)

Pretty sure on those 4 from what I saw in the spring on twitter.

According to the UW-Milwaukee website, former Pointer Dan Studer is now at UWM.  He's a walkon but just could catch on there.  Best of luck to Dan.

Good for him for challenging himself at a D1 school, I definitely think he could have made a mark during his career at UWSP.

There are many reasons to transfer after one year at school. I would hope that Studer didn't transfer because he didn't feel like he was challenged on the court.

Really looking forward to seeing Pat Juckem and Matt Lewis build the new beast at Oshkosh.   They were out hard this summer on the recruiting trail and there will be plenty of competition for minutes for the Titans this year.

Coach Juckem will turn the Titans around - he did it at Coe and he'll do the same at UWO.  Notice he nabbed a handful of Illinois players - same thing he did at Coe.
