John Carroll: 87   Stout: 79 ... Stout led by eight at the half but went cold from the floor in the second half.  Brett Ahsenmacher had 22 to lead the Blue Devils.

Superior: 85   Coe: 78 ... YellowJackets hit 10 of 18 three point attempts and committ only 4 turnovers.  Johnquez Brooks and Ty Ketz both score 22 and Zach Schradle adds 17.

Wooster 66   LaCrosse: 58 ... Wooster outscores the Eagles 18-9 from the charity stripe.  Skylar Cameron (16) and Kenny Finco (14) lead the Eagles.

Eau Claire: 83    Hobart: 78 (2OT) ... Outscored by 15 in the first half the BluGolds rally.  After nearly winning in regulation the BluGolds score last to force the second overtime and go 5 of 6 from the charity stripe in the last minute for the win.  BluGolds hit 15 of 26 treys.  Jacob Kohner hit 25, Tyson Kalien 24 and Lewis Mau had a 12/12 double/double. 

The WIAC is 42-34 (55%) in nonconference play to date.

Stout: 59   St Scholastica: 54 ... Trailing by a point at the half the Blue Devils score first and take a lead they would build to a high of 14 and hold for the entire 20 minutes of the second half.  Brett Ahsenmacher led the way with 13 points.  As a team the Blue Devils recorded 10 steals.

Superior: 67   Luther: 61 ... No box available

DePauw: 66  EauClaire: 48 ... The BluGolds were held to 18 second half points shooting 27% from the floor.  George Diekelman's 13 points led the BluGolds.

Platteville: 89   William Peace: 64 ... The Pioneers shoot 55% from the floor and end the game by the half 50-23.  Jake Manning scored 17 points in 21 minutes to lead five Pioneers in double figures.  Cory Vaassen's line reads 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.  As a team the Pioneers had 21 assists on 34 baskets.

LaCrosse: 71   Spalding (KY): 66 ... The Eagles led by twelve at the half but Spalding got to within three in the second half though the Eagles made 5 of 6 free throws in the final minute to secure the win.  Cale Zuiker (24) and Trent Schmidt (23) paced the Eagles who shot 57% from the floor for the game.

Titans 72, Carthage 63 at the Kolf Center this afternoon.  Nice win for the Titans.  Over 50% from 3 point land.

Trailing 13-12 nine minutes into the game the WARHAWKS forced back to back turnovers and Cody Odegaard hit back to back three point baskets all within sixteen seconds to ignite the offense which led at the half by sixteen 46-30.  The lead just continued to grow in the second half reaching a high of forty three, 87-44 with four minutes remaining.  The WARHAWKS shot 55% from the floor and dominated the boards 43-27. 

Steve Egan: 13 points
KJ Evans: 11 points, 10 rebounds
Quardell Young: 12 points, 7 assists, 3 steals


Miller (300-85) is the seventh conference coach to reach the 300 wins plateau and the third fastest behind Ken Anderson (355) and Bo Ryan (374).

Pointers sweep California. Watched via internet video, which was awesome from Pomona-Pitzer. Audio from the two female student announcers not so good  :P

Point was up by 11 with less than 1-1/2 minutes to go, only up 2 with 18 seconds left. Poor free throw shooting in that extended minute (3 for 7) made it nail biting time. Both games were closer than they should have been due to shooting only 54% from the line (21-39).  That said Pelkhofer played well in both games and Ritchay stepped up against CMS.  Back to the cold fellas  :)

Oshkosh: 72   Carthage: 63 ...  Tied at the half the Titans shoot 58% in the second half and make a 10-2 run to pull away in the game's final three minutes.  Alex Olson was good for 24 and had 4 steals.  Kyle Bolger added 15 and had 3 assists. 

LaCrosse: 57   Millikin: 54 ... The Eagles led by eleven at half and pretty much maintained a double digit lead to the final five minutes when Millikin closed the gap getting to within three a few times including the final.  Eagles shoot 54% for the game.  Cale Zuiker's 18 points and 8 rebounds led the way.
