They didn't go to Kentucky to go to school.

Q: Do you know what they call a senior Kentucky basketball player?

A: A walk on.

You seem to be implying that the Kentucky players who aren't one-and-doners actually do those things.

Call me skeptical, but I have more than a few doubts about the academic rigor involved in being a Kentucky men's basketball player.

From what I've read, the Harrisons are back of the 2nd round draft picks at best right now.  If they stay in school another year, they'd probably fall off the draft boards completely as a flood of younger players would be more attractive.  Let's face it - their lot in life is to get paid playing basketball whether in the US or overseas.  They're much better declaring now than waiting another year.

I'm guessing if they declared after their freshman seasons, they would have possibly been drafted higher than after this past year.

Calipari all but said he's got four A-level students buried on his practice squad strictly to raise the team GPA.

6'0" guard from East Troy, Connor Mitchell, to Whitewater.  That makes 3 guards in WW's recruiting class thus far.

Blast from the past for WIAC and Pointer fans.

Kalifa El Amin is at the Brewer game tonight. He threw out a ceremonial 1st pitch!

Take it for what it's worth...but I exchanged some text messages with a family friend of the Wittchow's yesterday, he flat out told me that Brett is going to Point and that Point is getting a steal.  I agree he's a steal, should be a very good player in the WIAC.  I'll hold off excitement until I see confirmation.
Looks like that family "friend" didn't have correct information....  Wittchow is headed to UWO.

You can save your excitement for someone else now!!!!
