D3 UWW alum TJ Otzelberger was named head coach at South Dakota State yesterday.

Otzelberger was nearly named the UWM coach last week before UWM chancellor over-ruled the AD and search committee due to a lack of minority hiring in the athletic department.

Otzelberger moves onto the Jackrabbits of SDSU after being a head coach at Iowa State for all but 2 years since 2007.

Another recruit for La Crosse....Beaver Dam Senior Sam Wiersma will play for Coach Koelbl.

Big get for La Crosse, ranked 29th in Mark Miller's Senior Top 50...Waupun 6'8" Center Colton Homan will continue his basketball career for the Eagles.  He should help immediately on the defensive end with his athleticism, has a lot of work to do offensively.  He really struggles from the free throw line.  He still brings a ton of potential.

Hometown kid Chris Ancius has tweeted he will stay in God's Country to play hoops for UWL...

At 6'5", he averaged 13.5 ppg and six boards, while leading the Aquinas Blugolds to the WIAA 4 state tournament, where the team lost to eventual state champ Whitefish Bay Dominican in the semis...

I'll get started with each schools returning players and new recruits.  I admittedly will miss out of state commits as I've only seen a couple of them.  If anyone knows of recruits to a respective school, please chime in.  With the returning players, I only included players who averaged 10 minutes a game.  There are still plenty of players that haven't made decisions yet so I will update these posts as those decisions become public.
