Yep, we have all the WIAC schedules except UW-Whitewater men and UW-Stevens Point men.

Point has a killer nonconference schedule. 8 of 11 were tourney teams last year.

St. Norbert
11/15 @ St. Olaf
11/18 vs Christopher Newport at Stevenson
11/19 vs Lynchburg at Stevenson
11/26 @ Lawrence*
11/29 vs Superior*
12/10 @ Hope
12/14 @ St. Thomas
12/21 vs Edgewood*
12/29 vs North Central
12/31 vs Augustana

I know St. Thomas and Augustana basically lose everyone. St. Olaf and Hope lose 2 or 3 big guns. St. Nortbert and CNU basically return everyone. NCC returns their top two and 4 starters, I think. They could be the CCIW favorite.

No matter how good that SOS is, Point better be very good or this could mean winning the WIAC tourney or being out of the NCAAs.  That's a brutal run.

Ouch!

Is that St. Norbert game still up-in-the-air for dates?

Whitman has a really tough schedule too: http://www.d3hoops.com/teams/Whitman/Men/2016-17/index

But the Pointers' slate is harder with the defending champs and two CCIW schools instead of Covenant and TLU (though those teams also made the tournament).

I think I saw it listed on their incomplete schedule before it was taken down, but I forgot the date. St. Norb's doesn't have their schedule up yet, so I couldn't confirm the date.

Point will obviously have to drastically improve on their 7-7 conference record as well. The WIAC is more balanced with La Crosse winning the league, Oshkosh taking the conference tourney and River Falls and Eau Claire finishing tied with Oshkosh for 2nd at 9-5. And Whitewater will inevitably bounce back.

Interestingly, no UWSP on the schedule. My apologies. I thought I saw St. Norbert on the schedule.

I never saw confirmation or anything on it, but after seeing St Norbert on the schedule this past season...I assumed it would be a home and home series.  I don't know why St Norbert would agree to playing at Point and not wanting a return visit by the Pointers.

I really like UWSP's schedule, it will obviously test them and get them ready for the conference slate.  This year the WIAC will be a grind, I expect that 5 teams are going to be really good.

Has Columbo come to Stevens Point to investigate yet?  Let us know.  ;)

St. Norbert is remodeling its gym this year. The Green Knights will be using UWGB's gym, so their access to open home dates is obviously constrained by that. Perhaps UWSP will make its return visit to DePere in the 2017-18 season.

UWSP's schedule has been posted.

There are 10 non con games. Am I right that this is one fewer than the maximum (14 conference plus 10 non-con)?

And no SNC as previously reported.

Yes, the maximum is 25 regular season games.
