the St. Norbert's position is still open from what I hear.

Not any more. Gary Greszk (sp?) from Lakeland is headed to St. Norberts

Wow, didn't take him too long to move on.  I'm hoping he'll be as successful as Paul Combs is when he went to Platteville

Our nonconference opponents were announced today.  We have an exhibition game at UWGB, road games at Carleton and St. Thomas in Minnesota, and will play in a tournament at College of Wooster.  Calvin, the team that beat us in the tournament will be at the Wooster Christmas tournament, too.

I hope Koebl picks up some big guys.

Chmarx,

You have a full schedule?  I didn't see it up on the website yet.  Who are your home nonconference games?  Aside from Viterbo!  ;)

I'm counting 21 so far...assuming two are in the Wooster tourney.

UW-L's schedule isn't posted yet for next year however a little bird told me this week that they are playing UWGB next November.  That should be interesting.  Anyone want to post what they think Warner (and company) will (or won't) be able to do against the Phoenix?

I am excited to see TVD recruiting some decent players.  They need them.

cubs – nice call with the earlier word on Welch going to Oshkosh.  Let us know if you hear anything else.

The article is interesting.  Al McGuire used to work the playgrounds of New York for recruits.  It looks like Van Dellen's working the back woods of central Wisconsin is really starting to pay off.  He probably won't find another Butch Lee there, but Bryce Welch is going to be a dandy.  I had a chance to see him play this past season, and he should help right away to minimize the loss of Jahnke.  In spite of all the points he scored at W-F, he is a very unselfish player who takes as much pride in setting up teammates for baskets as scoring them himself.  I haven't seen too many HS players who read the game the way he does.  He has a real knack for anticipating what is going to happen and making the right plays.  I would like to see the Titans become a team known for making the extra pass for high percentage baskets.

Maybe he recruited Welch from a walleye boat on the Wolf River ?

Former UW-Riverfalls Star Rich Melzer wins NBA D-League Championship with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds.  Congrats to the man, I can see him making a NBA team next year.   Good job Melzer.    8)

Champ99, I don't see UWL being able to play with a decent D1 team.

We are going to be very thin on the front line if Koebl doesn't recruit some size.

Any word on who will be the new assistant at RF?
