Point in a real cold spell here. Up 46-26 at the 16 minute mark, it's now 50-39 at the 7 minute mark. 4 points in 9 minutes?

Beats the heck out of the ZERO points in 11 minutes against River Fallsinthe WIAC title game.

Point beats North Central 72-55 playing very well defensively, holding Sorenson to half his regular seasona average.

Platteville wins 91-76 over  a very athletic Monmouth team.  Platteville started strong only to let the Scotts back in and only led by 3 at half.  Monmouth led by 5 midway through the 2nd half.  Then they started to run out of gas and foul trouble caught up with them. Platteville's Gerds who was a no show last Friday against RF in the WIAC Tournament had a big game 14 points, blocked a few shots and played good D. The Pioneers play St Olafs Saturday.

Fortunately for the Pioneers there is only one of them.   ;) ;D

Was at the UWSP vs NCC game and I had never seen the pointers in person, very impressed with them. So fundamentally sound on both ends of the court, cliche as it sounds they made NCC work on every possession. Brett Tauber would be my MVP from yesterdays game, as he did a great job of getting Sorenson out of his comfort zone. He would front or 3/4 guard him and there was almost always great help side from his fellow Pointers. Tauber also was 5-6 from the field for 14 points. UWSP has a solid team, they will be a tough out going forward.

Thanks for the kind words, Smitty! Point has definitely improved throughout the season. Are you going tonight?
