Greek Tragedy

Except Platteville wasn't in the way, La Crosse was. When Platteville did come in, that added 0-3 to Point and 1-2 to La Crosse.

As I've said in the past, it would've been better for Point to lose to La Crosse in the Final, not Platteville.

I left this Board 12 years ago because of all the nit pickin on my posts! I have hardened up in my old age and I am back for good! BTWI got no responses on the UWW Mens basketball Facebook page! I was asking about the reason Melvin Brown jr did not play against UWP in the Tournament! What was the reaction from you UWW fans? Why does Pat Miller get so many D1 or Scholarship players as transfers? Some work out and some do not!

Good for the player from Wenona going to UWRF! Did Wenona State recruit him?

I can't imagine a reason why people would nit pick your posts....

... and you came back because you're a frontrunner.

The fact that in your first post back you chose to rub the loss in the faces of the UWSP fans and didn't even mention your Pioneers makes it even worse in my book.

1. I haven't said anything because it isn't anyone's business.
2. Some of us were disappointed.
3. I don't know.

Brett Tauber was honored before the UWSP and UWP Playoff game! he has a 3.95 with a triple major in the Business School! Sounds like a future CEO! Well deserved as the scholar athlete in WIAC!

Congrats to him. I think I had a 3.95 GPA after my freshman year, if you added up both semesters.

I haven't seen either Lake Forest or St. John's play. LF lost to LAX earlier in the season and St. John's is 2-1 v. WIAC opponents. Has anybody seen either of these teams play? I'm confident in the Titans' chances, but I have no idea how they match-up with these specific teams.

I have St. John's ranked #5 in my National Top 25 poll.  They are very good.  I think Oshkosh is better, but that won't be an easy game.  Lake Forest has talent, they'll make you work, but I don't see any way they challenge UWO.

St. John's has a lot of upperclassmen and very talented 1-5.  They're also one of the better defensive teams in the country and really efficient on both ends of the court.  They're very good from outside - and can probably match UWO in a shooting contest.  I'd say they're very much a B+ version of UWO with maybe a slightly better defense.  I think it's absolutely the toughest second round matchup in the entire bracket (for both teams).

I've seen LF. Some nice guards but they can't match up with Flynn and Fravert.
