Mostly twitter...also Wissports and prephoops websites have recruiting updates.

Granted, this board hasn't been "hoppin' as far as visitors go...but it seems most posters couldn't care less on who is committing to which school.  They seem to follow them when they start playing for their respective school.  We will see if I continue to do recruiting updates.

Though I don't necessarily discuss them I also like your updates Tom.  Admittedly most of the players I am unfamiliar with and I've never seen a bad Hudl video so I generally don't go that route but I do find it interesting.

Good luck Titans.

I couldn't agree more about the Hudl videos, they are all highlights after all.  So, it's hard to get anything from them.  I'll watch them to see how their athleticism translates to the next level.  A lot of those articles on wissports and prephoops will tell you which schools are recruiting which players, as you can imagine, the kids that are getting D2 interest and even D2 offers that end up in the WIAC are who I would be most excited about coming to UWSP.

For example, Westosha Central's Jaeden Zackary has 2 D2 offers from Concordia-St Paul and Parkside along with most likely being a finalist for Mr. Basketball this year.  He recently has said that the schools recruiting him hardest are UWSP, UWW and UWO.  If he spurns his scholarship opportunities to play in the WIAC, that would be one of the bigger recruiting victories for that school in recent memory.

Uncommitted players that would be big gets for a WIAC program
Samuel Meerstein  Green Bay New Lutheran
Lucas Stieber Green Bay Southwest
Will Pytleski  Green Bay Southwest
Austin Westra  Deforest
Noah Parcher La Crosse Central
Luke Taylor Germantown
Jacob Everson Menasha
Ryan Waddell  Homestead
Chris Bready  Waukesha West
Tyler Gouin  Arrowhead
Rich Byhre  Catholic Memorial
Patrick Suemnick  Denmark
Logan Mulhern  Osseo-Fairchild
Marquise Milton Racine Horlick
AJ Makinen Muskego

I like hearing about that stuff, tomt. Some of these kids might be difference makers, some not. And I'd rather you wade through all their "blessed and honored to receive my nth offer from Southwest Northeast State Tech!" tweets than have to do it myself.

Haha, that's funny...I've certainly heard some names of colleges through tweets and articles that I've never heard of before.

Tomt4525,

When I come over from the CCIW page, I look forward to seeing your updates as well.   Interesting you mention Jaeden Zachery.   I went to see him play a few weeks back and he would be a great addition to any D3 squad.   I would think Parkside would continue to go after him hard as well.  He is physically ready to step in and play at the next level...reminds me of Andre Brown when he came out of Indian Trail Academy and went to WW (from a size perspective).   Seems like an outside shot is the only big thing he is missing at the moment, but boy is he quick and such a good passer and penetrator.  He can fill a stat sheet with boards and steals too.   Hard to believe Carthage isn't on him (at least aggressively).   When you have local kids like Quardel Young, Brown and now Zackery in your backyard, you need to get them in your program for a lot of reasons.

Congraulations UWO men! You beat the Giant Killer Loras! Good crowd Good energy  Watched most of the first game as well! Great doubleheader. Nice crowd by St Thomas! Gilford has never lost to a ranked team this year! If they keep that up it would be a big upset!

Nice work. I didn't realize they went 2-0 vs RMC. Then Wittenberg and St. Thomas...were there any other ranked opponents?

Maybe Lynchburg; not sure if they were ranked when they played.

Yikes!!! The guy and the girl????  You guys ara too kind to your locals. The guys that did the Augie Wheaton game were outstanding.  I had to turn the audio of the Oshkosh game off....just my humble opinion.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!
