Will Point have enough for 5 v 5 scrimmages?  ::) ??? ;)

Canon O'Heron will still be on campus and will be at practices...that adds a guy...so, barely play 5 on 5.  I don't think the recruiting shortcomings these past 3-4 years have been strictly due to the NCAA investigation, Semling and Hockett didn't get the job done.

if you check out the UWSP basketball twitter account...it appears Bublitz is back for his senior season after initially deciding to forgo his final year.

Would you concede the job was made more difficult by the investigation?

Definitely, I don't think there is any question that the investigation made recruiting harder for UWSP.  I'm sure every school recruiting against UWSP for kids made sure to mention it to the prospective athletes.

Is it possible UWSP self-imposed some non-public recruiting restrictions on its coaching staff?

I can't think of a reason you'd self-impose a penalty you don't report to anyone.  That seems to defeat the purpose entirely.  You might self-impose some things you don't announce publicly right away, but by the time the NCAA report is out, it will be out, too.

Incoming recruiting class at UW-Whitewater that haven't been previously announced includes Bailey Kale of La Crosse Central, James Burks and Robert Harris of Riverside and Nate Walker of West Allis Hale.

Kale was a former D2 recruit at Duluth and should be an instant impact guy, I'm not familiar with the others.

The Pointer women's schedule is up, so I anticipate the men's schedule to be released soon. No La Crosse schedule yet either.

UWRF has announced some new additions I hadn't seen to their 2019 recruiting class.  Ben Reckseidler is a 6'6" F from Stillwater MN and also Spencer Konecne, who is a 6'9" C from Bemidji MN.

Per UWSP recruiting - they have had some recruiting restrictions in place since some period after the investigation began. I can't remember all the specifics and I am not sure how long they were to last, but I believe official on-campus visits were eliminated and possibly some, if not all, recruiting trips might have been affected as well.

So yes, the investigation did affect things.

What's an "official" visit for D3?  Obviously for scholarship schools they pay for travel, food and lodging, but what can a D3 school do that makes a visit official compared to unofficial??

From memory, I believe the "official visit" restrictions were to last 4 years from when the punishment was handed down.  I don't remember anything about off campus recruiting also having restrictions.
