Greek Tragedy

Platteville rallies from 9 down to win 70-69. Point makes 1 of 2 at the line and then Platteville takes the lead with less than 3 seconds to go. Point inbounds to halfcourt and takes a timeout. Bublitz with a good look 3 at the buzzer, back iron.

There is just one week left in the regular season and with it comes conference chaos.

Some conference tournaments are already underway and have seen upsets. It will be the theme of the week. With conference tournaments come upsets. Those upsets will cause teams on the NCAA tournament bubble to have their hopes burst. And there will be some Cinderellas who will capture the headlines.

Could it be any more fun?

Sunday on Hoopsville (starting at a special earlier time) we chat with a few programs who are either looking to avoid the conference chaos or be a part of it.

Plus, there is changes coming to the way we look at the current regional structure. How the process started and flowed for the last 18 or more months. And what you can expect it all to look in the future.

Guests Schedule (order subject to change):
- Pat Devaney, Sr., NJCU women's coach
- Brad Bankston, ODAC Commissioner
- Josh Merkel, No. 2 Randolph-Macon men's coach
- Ashlee Rogers, Marymount women's coach
- Jeff Gard, No. 7 UW Platteville men's coach
- Bob Quillman & Ryan Scott, Top 25 Double-Take

Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com and airs from the WBCA/NABC Studio. You can watch Sunday's show LIVE starting at 6:30 pm ET in the following ways:

8. Stout 2-12, 6-19

Besides Whitewater disappointing more than expected and Eau Claire exceeding expectations, went pretty much as expected.

Obviously expectations were very high for Oshkosh, but 11-3 and second place in the WIAC is very impressive.

#6 River Falls (5-9) at #3 La Crosse (9-5)

The Eagles will try to solidify their Pool C chances with a win over River Falls. They've beaten them twice already. Both games at the half were close. La Crosse won by 8 at home and 16 on the road. I don't see how La Crosse doesn't get a win here.

#5 Stevens Point (7-7) at Eau Claire #4 (8-6)

It's AQ or bust for these two squads. Eau Claire swept the season series. The Blugolds won on the road by just one after leading by 11 at the break. At Zorn, Point held a 2-point lead at halftime, but fell by 9. I don't see Point having enough to get the road win.

That's a huge "get" for Point. Played on Wisconsin Playground Warriors. Dad went to Carthage(?). Read up on him a little. Stud. Hope Point can find about 10 more top recruits.

Gordy Zastrow? Pretty good player for Carthage. Made the All-CCIW team twice.

I'll bet that the Djurickovics were on Zastrow the Younger pretty hard and are probably ticked that he's chosen not to be a legacy Red Man.

Gordy it is, who now coaches Trey and Manitowoc Lutheran.  There is another one of Gordy's sons who played at NDSU as well, athletic family.  Trey is a big win for the Pointers, now they just need some more big win's from about 6 more guys.
