I'll be at SP this weekend for the doubleheader. When they play doubleheaders do they both play in the same gym or do I have to pick up my stuff and move? :)

You'll have to pick it up and move.  Two gyms, same facility.

Point is one of the few places (I would guess) and the only one in the WIAC that have the men and women play in two different gyms.  They are in the same building, but on opposite ends.  It's just a little hike down a long hallway.  You should have plenty of time.  The 2nd game doesn't start until 30 minutes after the 1st game, no matter how long it goes.

Too bad UWSP football didn't win 2 games in the playoffs.  Otherwise tomorrow you would have the UWW-Point football game at noon.  The men's basketball teams would face off right afterwards at 3:00, with the women to follow.  What an atmosphere that would have been.  Heck, I would make the trip for that!

Though not Whitewater, Point hosts #2 Superior in hockey on Friday and then #15 St. Scholastica on Saturday.

JOIN THE WIAC FANTASY AND PICK EM LEAGUES!!!

Be sure to get your picks in before tomorrow's games.  No confidence points this year, just pick the winners!

Also, join in on the new and improved WIAC Fantasy League.  All you have to do is pick any 5 players for your team!  Players can be picked by multiple posters.  It's easy as 1, 2, 3...4, 5!  Your roster carries over too!  Just swap players when that player's team has a bye.  As usual, I do all the work, though my wife isn't too happy about that!

Yes, I got married in the off-season, so as a wedding gift, join the fun! lol  ;) :D ;D :o ::) :P

At least you were smart enough to get married in the off season, and not have to WASTE a weekend during basketball season.

Quite honestly, Pat, it has been a pain in the ass.  The half hour plenty of time thing doesn't fit very well when you are trying to combine a postgame with a pregame.  I understand why Shirley would want to have her own gym, but it is not an easy transition for the radio guys.  Thanks, Pat, for calling in this morning.  I did not realize you were on until after you were gone.  We plan to call you in the next couple of weeks.

The real advantage of having two gyms at UWSP comes with their practice time.  Both the men's and women's team have almost complete flexibility in their practice schedule to work around classes, jobs, etc.  Plus neither team has to go "late" after the other team unless they want to.

UWP gets by Superior by 7 or so.  The lead was down to 3 with a minute left.

Let the surprises begin:  Falcons 69, Titans 59. In a great defensive effort, Jontae Koonkaew held Matt Miller without a three (0-7), and Wade Guerin limited DSA to 8. Marsh was very good (24), but the only Titan in double figures.

Titans were 1-13 from three range. TK got two technical fouls in the last minute, and said to the ref after the first one: "Best call you've made all game," providing plenty of humor for the home crowd.

Koonkaew led four Falcons in double figures with 22, followed by Jake "Electric Man" Voeltz with 16 pts., 7 rbds. (6 offensive). Aaron Anderson and Brady Hannigan each got 10

It was really a great division three basketball game, each team with only 11 turnovers. RF played by far their best game this season, and better than I've seen them in two years.

I know there's a separate in-game updates board but this has turned into quite a game at UWSP.
