To the idiot who screeched every time a WHITEWATER player shot a free throw.  Love your enthusiasm but my god you are annoying.
Maybe that was a Cru football player still harboring some resentment.  ;)

Greek Tragedy

Bad night for WIACers...Platteville, Whitewater and Point all go down.

Point's game story is here...

Please, no more 10-day layoffs.  The good news is when we had 10 days off before, we lost to Lawrence, but we bounced back to win a big conference game vs. Whitewater.  So, after getting hammered by Carroll, I'm hoping we'll beat Oshkosh on Saturday.

RF (8-4) over Hamline (3-5) 81-76 in a fairly sloppy game (15 t.o.'s for RF, 16 for Hamline). Jake Voeltz double-doubles w/12 rbds., 22 pts. Koonkaew not too far from a triple-triple w/18 pts., 8 rbds., 9 assists. But he also had 6 t.o.'s. However, down the stretch he was  money at the line, ending with 10/11. Aaron Anderson (13) and Spencer Shelman (10) rounded out the scoring for RF.

Hamline played without Thrasher, who was injured in pre-game warmups, so they missed his 16 ppg. average.

Sounds like some of our better teams struggled after a long break.  Can't say I'm opposed to not having games during finals, though.

Too bad you're not opposed to playing schools your own size, then you might get a taste of the intention of D-III athletics.  Wait, then you'd  miss the opportunity to get your tail kicked by a little school with a couple of thousand students.  Regarding the annoying idiot who screeched everytime a chickenhawk shot a free throw, every school in America would be lucky to have a fan like him, and he couldn't be further from annoying.  He's one the best human beings on God's green earth. Go Cru!  Beat Whitewater!

Not that it matters but we do play schools our own size 16 times every season.  Our league even plays a school with 34000 students, does yours?
The annoying idiot should listen to himself on the radio sometime.
But you're entitled to gloat.  After all having gotten your butts kicked four times on the gridiron has to have led to considerable frustration that you've bottled up waiting for the opportunity to release and it finally came.   I can tell you know a lot about the spirit of DIII athletics.

Hamline played without Thrasher, who was injured in pre-game warmups, so they missed his 16 ppg. average.

While they did play without Thrasher, Tanner Anderson who usually averages 4 ppg scored 15, and basically filled the void of Thrasher.  They turned Anderson into Thrasher and were able to do the same things.

I am not trying to say they didnt miss the schools 7th all time leading scorer, because I am sure that Thrasher would have made some more things happen then Anderson did.

Game story claimed Dwight Hill was named MVP of Cactus Jam tournament (six-team bracket) and Shane Manor made all-tournament team. I would have put Jake Smith on the list, but I guess they don't take votes from people on the opposite border of the country watching games on a computer. Story of my life.
