Well it looks like it's setting up for the classic 4 vs. 5 game where Oshkosh gets beat by Superior in the WIAC tournament.  It's like the sun rising in the East.  :'(
Last time I checked, UWO has lost just ONCE to Superior in the WIAC Tournament...  They are actually 2-1 against the Jackets in the WIAC Tournament.

Sorry Cubs.  I guess losing games to them in the final week so that we have to play them again to me are part of the tournament.  But technically they are not.

I want to see the Titans suceed but have tired  of holding my breath.

Greek Tragedy

A little dramatic on the "separate from #2 and #3" situation on Wednesday.  Assuming Whitewater beats Stout this weekend, Platteville and Whitewater are tied for 2nd.  Had it been a case where one of the two teams has a two game lead, or even just a single game lead, then it would be a different story because that would be a difference of being tied and being down two.  I believe the new setup is supposed to bold well for the top two seeds.

As I stated before, it's going to be tougher and tougher for the other teams to catch Point, Whitewater and Platteville since none of those teams have been able to win on a semi-regular basis.  Being down 3 or 4 games in the loss column already is going to be hard to make up, even with over half the conference season to go.

Dumb question ... many D2 leagues broadcast their games over the internet ... obviously it takes a television setup ... is that something the WIAC may go to?

Independently, teams show games.  For example, 3 of the 4 conference games tomorrow have video feeds.

I just listened to Coach Combs on the Hoopsville broadcast from last Sunday... As I said last year after listening to his post game when UWP beat Point in the regular season finale, this conference is full of great coaches who are really good guys that know their stuff and know their place.  Just listening to how humble he was in the broadcast (and granted, the Pios had just lost two games), he really keeps true to his team and the DIII spirit.  It's really worth the time to listen (from about 39:00 to 59:00 on the podcast).

I agree that there is a lot of great coaching in the conference.

Thanks again, Pat, for your input on the show this morning.  Always great to hear your perspective.  Just couldn't draw you into the Minnesota/Wisconsin thing, though.  First time I ever heard you at a loss for words.  Just remember, we enjoy offending people.   :D

I was trying to come up with a bubbler reference. I should've played a Vikings playoff card, I suppose. :)

Apparenty Oshkosh took offense in recent games...beating Eau Claire in OT and then smoking La Crosse.  Maybe on a roll?

2) I see the last game, not the game that should be on today
Unfortunately, from time to time, the school's Sports Information Staff who are inputting the stats to feed them to SIDEARM Stats have unexpected trouble which can prevent them from putting the stats up for public viewing. We apologize for any inconvenience, and suggest emailing your school's Sports Information Department for more information. Also, generally it is just home games that are covered by SIDEARM Stats, unless otherwise noted.

Poopy.  The live feed is a little rough.

so the live stats are... or aren't working?  And I can't seem to find the link anyway.

I though UW Super used to have streaming video, too.
