Yes, but that little guy at Point is married now, so he probably won't be so nice anymore.  Sout Survior, could there be a lesson here?

Enjoy my last seven months, got it.  By the way, if you dont like buying water at $2 a bottle wait till the wedding.  While everyone else has free beer I am going to charge you,  BDB, yours is on the house for keeping Stoutguy employed  ;)

Wait I dont need to be mean yet, I will make you a deal Stoutguy, if Stout wins the conference all your drinks are on the house.
You are only as good as the people around you.

Could have called you Jake.  Remember, it took me a very long time to figure that one out.  If you've seen one, 7foot, white, d3 post player, you've seen them all

I don't think Fred ever had hair, at least not since the 90's when the best defense ever was instituted by him...the box and 1, and the one stayed on the other end of the court and didn't play defense...i believe it was called junk defense, but my memory fades me :)

You know, I think Fred used that against Menomonie a time or two.  He is such a fox.  No, wait "was such a fox".  Now he's just a sly old dog.  8)

Glad to see you guys patronizing Bo's and Mine in River Falls.  I see them up a lot on the Buzztime trivia leaderboards.  Brian got me into that a decade or so ago, and I'm hooked.  In fact, I intend to visit Bo's next time I'm in RF.

I am pretty pumped for the River Falls/Platteville game.  It will be a good measuring stick to see where this young team stands with the conference powers.

uwrf.edu/wrfw if ya want to tune in.

Good luck to everyone else tomorrow.

BW--oh that I had that much power! I don't even have a vote on city council.

Hair Worshippers--"Everybody Looks Better Bald." Including females. Just try it--cut it all off. You'll never go back.

stoutguy--Our women are coming on--beat Oskosh. Only have 2 losses, one in conference. And, they're very young.

Jville F.--I think you confused the"old guy" in WW with me--an easy confusion, actually.

Chmarx--If you travel to RF for the Lax game, I'll buy you all the beer stoutguy would have enjoyed had he shown up.

Survivor,

If stoutguy isn't guaranteed a free bar at the wedding,

A) You won't see him there. Or..
B) We'll have our designated driver because there is no way he'll be pulling out that moth infested wallet.  ;D

Yes, the Falcons put up a great battle while losing to Pville, 69-62. RF led by ten near the end of the first half, but a 7-0 run cut the half time lead to 31-28. Then, at the beginning of the second half, the Falcons had a 7-0 run of their own to re-gain the ten point margin. It was a see-saw affair from there on, until RF got in foul trouble. Pville never got 7 fouls in the second half, while RF picked up their 7th with several minutes left. Wade Guerin, who had done a great job defending Skemp, fouled out with almost four minutes left.

Sixteen of 18 Pville throws versus 5 of 8 for the Falcons was one of the deciding factors.

Lohoff was outstanding for the Pioneers w/24. And the Pville defense was smothering on the perimeter in the second half. The Pioneer defense has not received much attention on this board, but it would be hard to  play harder on D than they did today. But, so did RF give a great effort. It was a great game.

Koonkaew led RF with 18.Guerin had 11.

UWEC over UWL 71-66.  About 3/4 through the game it looked like EC was controlling the game, up 11 points.  Then all of a sudden Mane exploded.  From the 10min mark until the 5min mark I think he must have scored close to 20 points.  The offense was to get the ball to him and let him go one on one with his defender.  He hit some incredible shots.  Perhaps the best individual performance that I have seen (in that time frame).  However, the first 30min he was basically nonexistent.  EC did a good job on him defensively and he just didn't seem like he was into the game.  UWL took the lead 59-57, but EC did not get rattled and made some great plays in the last minute to get the victory.   EC bench stepped up and played very well.  They needed that because Shea saw very limited minutes due to an injury he suffered against UWP.  UWL missed just too many short shots (not wide open, but short) in the 1st half.
