Well, it's not so central -- it's a little off in the corner.
Exactly, that's why I put "centrally" in quotation marks.  :)

I don't think the airfare has anything to do with Salem. The lowest airfare I could find from Raleigh to Miami with similar notice was $800.

The Roop

Try Ft. Lauderdale. For whatever reason Miami is always high priced.

I heard rumors to this a few weeks ago but I was going to wait until after the final four. But the rumor I heard was that Ziemer will be back at Point and playing next season and that this season was simply an unoffical red shirt year for him.

He didn't practice with the team this year, so it's not a redshirt year for him, official or unofficial. It was simply a hiatus year.

It matters quite a bit whether or not a player gets to practice with the team even if he can't play, which is the whole reason why the redshirt was such a sticking point in D3 before it was outlawed.

The comment about the geographic concentration of D 3 schools would, on the surface, seems to make sense, relative to Salem hosting the championships but that doesn't make it balanced.  It would be similar to saying...well New York, Texas and California have laregr populations so they should all have more senators than the 2 granted to each state. In the way we arrange things in the U.S. is that Rhode isalnd has the same "voice" as California in the Senate. Surely, there are more D 3 schools in the east. So what's the point of that argument?? I am talking about a location that does NOT favor population, but geographic balance.

You skipped history class a lot I'm guessing.

The stripes have been calling things closer for Point on the defensive end and allowed Macon to be extra physical.

Point back up 12, 59-47 Point, but yet another foul on Point.

I noticed un-called traveling more than excessive physical play.
