Oh, come on...there aren't that many names out there.  If it's not Stout, and it's a FORMER asst, that leaves Sup, RF, EC (cough, cough) and LaX

Former EC assistant. Left for 3 years to go to a school in the SEC. Think Scotty Thurman and Big Nasty Corliss Williamson and 40 minutes of hell for the school. MS

Funny he was denied the Head boys job at Menomonie HS last year!

I remember watching him at state in the Ladysmith days.

Good luck to him!

Just Bill

So his name is Matt Silverling.  Geez, why is that so hard.

Pro-Am League to start

The summer months have traditionally been a dead zone for area college basketball fans. That's about to change.

Beginning July 10, players from MU, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Green Bay - both past and present - as well as players from in-state Division 2 and 3 schools will be taking part in the first Milwaukee Summer Pro-Am Basketball League at Homestead High School.

The league, which is NCAA-certified, is shooting for eight 10-man teams that will play eight games apiece, culminating in a one-day championship tournament at the Al McGuire Center on Aug. 8. It's the brainchild of New Berlin resident Jim Ganzer, who first discussed the idea roughly a year ago.

I've been following the Pointers for some time.  Don't shoot me but who is John Johnston?  Is he a past player or is he the transfer I heard UWSP got from Milwaukee?
