Did I miss the decision by Jared Jenkins yet or is he still deciding?

I know Point is deep but are they that deep that Danny Tillema can't see the floor?

RF loses to St. Thomas (TX), 63-59. Manor with 23 was the only player to score in double figures. Key stat:  Falcons turn it over  19 times, UST had only 6. Every other key stat in favor of Falcons. RF at Superior Wednesday.

GOT BALLS? PLAY FOR THE FALLS!

Greek Tragedy

I'm presuming Tillema is hurt.  He has been starting.

Actually, it was the Lawrence fans, specifically your boy T2K, that felt it was their Super Bowl, because they were playing their bigger & supposedly better WIAC neighbor.  It wasn't our creation.

If you google "Ted Van Dellen Super Bowl" you'll find out that is not the case.  Ted's quotes in the Oshkosh Daily Northwestern (lifted from this site) make it pretty clear who started the "Super Bowl" commentary.  I assume the LU folks were offended and ran with it.

EauClaire beaten by Milwaukee School of Engineering 61-48.
Free throws the difference.  MSOE 18-26  EC 3-7
An ugly loss.
Oshkosh loses at buzzer to same MSOE team, 65-62.  Four Titans in double figures, with Flanagan and Wojahn leading the way with 15 points each.  They also grab 8 and 5 rebounds respectively.  Wittwer and Kellner chip in 11 points apiece.

MSOE was able to overcome losing the turnover battle by holding the advantage in both FG% and FT made.  MSOE comitted 13 turnovers (which led to 17 UWO points) while UWO had just 6, although two of them were in the final 1:30 of the game.

Did Schimpf play vs. MSOE?  After going off with six 3's in the Lawrence game he didn't play against Silver Lake.  Was he home for Thanksgiving or is there an injury?  He is the real deal, the Titans will struggle without that shooting weapon.

UWSP turned it on defensively in the second part of the first half and coasted to the win over Edgewood. Pointers had SEVEN players in street clothes including Dan Tillema. Haven't heard for sure but he did tweak his knee last week. No Jared Jenkins, which likely means he won't be playing since it's been 2 weeks since the last FB game.

WOW! Point was 11-13 on 3-pointers tonight.

Greek Tragedy

Someone said he wasn't eligible until 1st semester finals were finished.  I thought someone said they heard it on a post game radio show.

That was Jackson, not Jenkins.  Jared is eligible to play.  I didn't hear the radio post-game to see if Semling mentioned it.

Point usually posts the radio post game on Youtube a day or so after home games... I'll watch it/link to it and summarize if anything meaningful is said on the subject.

I didn't get a chance to follow any of the game but 9/9 from 3 and 18/24 from the floor in the second half is pretty much as good as it gets.

My bad.

As for the Super Bowl, I heard it first through Lawrence fans.  Maybe, like you said, they got it from TVD and ran with it.  Sometimes I'm wrong, my wife will concur. Lol

Obviously I wasnt in Houston tonight, but the only text I received about the game read...

"Didn't play well at all!"

So I imagine the Falcons let this one get away from them. I mean they were playing a school that can't even keep an updated website.  ;D Hopefully they come re-focused for Superior on Wed.

Can't wait for the conf season to begin!

An ugly loss? Maybe you should wake up. This isn't the pre-redshirt era...it's the post-redshirt era. There is one dominant team in the WIAC (UWSP). Check out the other school's rosters, tell me where they are keeping up recruiting wise?
UWEC, UWO, UWW, UWL. These schools are in prime locations and they fail to recruit each year and now it's starting to catch up with them. Concordia-Wisconsin defeated UWL, MSOE beat both UWEC and UWO (ugly loss or just the truth of where the WIAC is at? I think the truth).
St. Norberts kicked the crap out of UWO the past three years. Carroll and Ripon have in past years and still continue to put out really good programs. Have you seen the recruiting classes in just the last year alone? I think you need to wake up and see where the state of Wisconsin basketball is really at!

Not sure what you are looking at, but Schrimpf played in both the Silver Lake victory, scoring 17 points (all in the first half) on five three-pointers and the MSOE loss, scoring just 5 or 6 points.

Wow!!!  Standards must be low when victories by eight and four points are now considered "kicking the crap" out of somebody. I'll give you this years 15 point victory, but other than that, SNC has been far from dominant against UWO.

As far as Whitewater, badgerwarhawk would probably be a better source, but I'd like to see the last time a team from Wisconsin outside of the WIAC has beaten them in basketball.  I know it hasn't happened in the last five years!!!
