No, we were planning on having Stout-RF hockey on tonight. That however got canceled. I wasn't going to drive.

Did they really take a plane? Cause if so, I never got an invite to go with! lol

I saw the Falcons jet land at Outagamie International in Appleton a few minutes ago.  So they are here to play.  Must be nice to travel in style.

Apparently when you win, extra luxuries come with it.  ::) ;D :D ;)

Titan Q

I'm scheduled to fly from St. Louis to Milwaukee tomorrow (arrival at about 1:30pm) for a work trip.  What kind of weather am I heading into?

Thanks, Wisconsin friends.

Blizzard conditions.  It's raining right now (39 degrees) but the bottom is going to drop out on the temperature scale overnight and turn into an honest to goodness blizzard.  Milwaukee is expecting 8-10 inches of new snow and 40-50 MPH winds.

Here's a weather graphic from the National Weather Service for SE Wisconsin:

Yes, the WARHAWKS did pick up the 77-71 win in Superior.

Koonkaew, Manor, Voeltz, Kimble led scoring with 18, 14, 13, 11 respectively. Flanigan had 18 for Titans.

Oshkosh is going to win 4 or less games in the WIAC this year.  Tragic.

And based off how they played against Lawrence and SNC, they would probably finish in the Top 4 of the MWC and qualify for the conference tournament and have a chance at an automatic bid.  Point won more games in the NCAA Tournament last season, than the MWC has in the last three seasons combined.  Yet the MWC will get a bid again this season, and maybe two if SNC stumbles in the MWC Tournament. Tragic...

I honestly don't think all is lost for Oshkosh.  They have a lot of new players.

They lost to Eau Claire, but had a 10 point lead at half time and a 10 point lead with 11 to go.

They lost to Platteville in OT after coming back from 7 down at the break.

And well, River Falls is obviously pretty good.

They beat a pretty good Lawrence team, probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the conference in the MWC.

I don't think they are going to be horrible and they will win some games.  I'd give them six conference wins.

Falcons stuck in Mosinee, WI tonight. Sounds like the bus as having some trouble making it back and they had to stop last minute.
