UWSP will be playing the Badgers this fall in the annual exhibition game.  Expected around Nov 3 or 4.  Also, missing from the teams awards banquet was John Johnston.  Don't know if he is transferring somewhere or was just not able to make it.  I wouldn't doubt that he ends up in Florida at St. Leo but I'm not sure about that.

Congratulations to Todd.  He is deserving of the opportunity to have his own team and his own program.  Best of Luck to him at Monmouth where he takes over for former Badger Mark Vershaw.

Kenosha Bradford's Quardell Young will be joining the WARHAWK basketball team next year.  Young, a 5'11" guard, averaged 17 points a game for the 20-5 Red Devils.

News out of UWSP.  Jerrel Harris is likely going to leave UWSP and move to Georgia.  Not sure if/where he will be attending.  I've been told his mom lives there and that is the reason for the move.  Nothing is definite yet, but I was told it is likely.  It would be a huge blow for the Pointers.

Harris leaving is old news but I heard there's more to it than his mother living out of state.  I heard there's some issues with one of the coaches and also that Danny Tillema is not playing next year if Harris leaves.  Take it for what it's worth but my source is excellent on this one.

I heard that Devon Jackson was going to leave if Jerrel Harris left but it now sounds like he is staying in school.  I haven't heard any problems with the coaches from Harris...and I also heard that Jerrel told the team he would stay if his girlfriend got into school at UWSP but I heard that she didn't get in.

I haven't heard anything about Dan Tillema not playing.

Is that the same source that told you Jared Jenkins was playing with the Scandy BABA basketball team, and that Van Daalwyk would be attending Point to play baseball?  If so, your source was wrong on those two occasions, so I won't hold my breath on this one either....

My cousin dates one of Jenkins 3 best friends and Jenkins did indeed play in BABA this past season albeit 1 game.  Pat was also at UWSP wearing a UWSP baseball shirt so like I said in that post I thought it was safe to assume he would choose Point over Ripon.  I could be wrong on Harris but am personally planning on him not being a Pointer next season which sucks.  I'm definitely not on here to make crap up and am being serious about this one.

Ouch

Aw, c'mon - admit it: if it hurts the Pointers, you love it! :D

lol

I've heard that the entire Stevens Point roster is going to form an intramural team next year.  :D
