WW wins by 29.  Cody O scored 29!  Don't think we needed a Chris Davis or a Tillema to win this one  ;)

GO HAWKS!

Thinking about Whitewater hosting with Wheaton near by.  Two flights to Whitewater or 3 flights to Virginia Wesleyan.

That's what our AD said in the post game interview.  Feeling confident.

When you shoot 60% + for everything, that'll win a lot!

It's all in the hands of the NCAA now....

I'd feel more confident of hosting if the NCAA hadn't broken the mold during the football season.  But we'll just have to wait and see.

What a night.  Odegaard and Merg have career nights while Merg/Bryson/Odegaard shut down Will DeBerg.  If anyone had ever told me we could put 91 on the board and Chris Davis would have 11 I'd have told them they were insane.  Sweet

If they think Virginia Wesleyan is THAT MUCH MORE deserving over Whitewater, they'll eat the extra flight and make all three fly to Virginia.  It happened when they sent 3 flights to Puget Sound during Point's first title run even though Lawrence was an hour away from Point.  I gotta believe Whitewater has a 50-50 shot.

Front page has Whitewater!  I may have to get tix for that!

I'm guessing there will be plenty of tix available.  For Whitewater's two games, the WIAC page has attendence numbers at 628 and 775.  I imagine VWC and Whitworth won't bring in big numbers, but Wheaton could bring a good number of fans.

HERE is a look at Wheaton's roster, with a link to stats and such.

Looks like they are a very experienced team starting 4 seniors.  Two big guys in McCrary (6-6) and Schultze (6-6) lead the way, with Pflederer (66 3s) and Garriott shooting from outside.  They were 2nd in the very tough CCIW.  It's going to be a real tough game for the Warhawks.

I'm really interested in seeing VWC's duo of DJ Woodmore and Donald Vaughn.  Let's not forget Whitworth as well.

It should be a great sectional.
