I was obviously joking - 2 former D1 players (Lindfors is a real talent), a D1 caliber player, and a D2 transfer all in the same year.  Hopefully they can mesh with the returning players.

New WARHAWKS

1. Jake Lindfors 6'9" Sr Center: Driscoll Catholic HS, Elk Grove Village, Ill.  Played 2 years at Albany and 1 at Minnesota State-Mankato
2. Reggie Hearn 6'6" Jr Forward: Milwaukee Bradley High School Played 2 years at Iowa Lake Community College
3. Patrick Souter 6' Jr Point Guard: Racine St Catherine High School  2 seasons at UW-Milwaukee as a walk-on.
4. Miles Chamberlin 6'3"  Soph Guard/Forward: Madison Memorial High School transfer from Minnesota State-Mankato
5. KJ Evans 6'2" Soph Guard: Beloit Memorial High School grayshirted last year
6. Darnell Harris 6'8 Freshman Forward: Originally committed to Cleveland St. Played at LaJolla Prep in California last year
7. Jack Herum 6'5" Freshman Forward: River Falls High School
8. Nick Olson 6'6" Freshman Forward: Brookfield Central High School

That's an extremely impressive class...What do you expect out of them badgerwarhawk??

Not having seen any of them play with the exception of Chamberlin I don't really know what to expect.  While we have had our fair share of transfers it is a bit unusual to have this many in a single season.  We've got a solid back court returning so adding size to the frontcourt was a priority and it looks like coach Miller has accomplished that.  I'm looking forward to seeing them play.  Hopefully we'll put a competitive team together that can challenge the other programs in the league.

The rich get richer! :(

Funny, I thought the same thing after reading about all the talent Point has coming in.

I love the long term potential of Point's class but I think Whitewater might get more of an immediate contribution out of Lindfors, Chamberlin and Harris.  I have to think both coaching staffs are absolutely thrilled with what they have added to their roster for this coming year and the future.

Mr. Downtown

Just stopping by and saying hi to everyone. I know its been years since I last posted. Glad to see the regulars are still on.

Can anyone report on what's going on in Oshkosh after TVD left?

Last I heard titan2000, East Beat, and TVD have been sharing a hunting stand in search of that elusive 30-pointer....

Well Pat Juckem is at the helm with Matt Lewis as a new assistant. There will be plenty of new faces on the Kohl Center floor come November 7th. Returners include Wurtz, Nickel and Royston. Mathwig transferred as reported earlier. Based on the University web page Mario Johnson appears to not be returning either. Flanigan of course graduated. One exciting newcomer is Andre Wallace. Andre sports a 4 inch high top fade, is at school on an academic scholarship and in his free time enjoys dancing around campus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSg8iWqJ3a0 no clue how good a player he is but at least he's a fun personality. The team's catch phrase is One Fist. That's what I know.

Royston's back?  Interesting....  ??? Am guessing there was a formal apology to one of the Athletic Departments corporate sponsors for that to happen.

More than likely. A fresh start with a new coach couldn't have hurt either.

I'm not sure if Bethany is Bethany Lutheran from Minnesota or Bethany from West Virginia...

Bethany Lutheran was 16-11 last year

Bethany was 21-8 and made the NCAA tournament.
