Superior: 52
WARHAWKS: 97

Superior led by four, 9-5 after four minutes before a jumper by Alex Merg followed by a three-pointer by Cody Odegaard put the WARHAWKS ahead.  The  WARHAWKS lead remained in single digits until the eight minute mark when a free throw by Merg created the first double figure lead, 23-13.  Superior would cut the deficit to single digits over the next four minutes.  Free throws by Reggie Hearn pushed the WARHAWKS lead back into double figures 30-20 with four minutes remaining in the half and the lead remained in double figures to the half ended with the WARHAWKS on top by thirteen 39-26.  Superior scored first in the second half to cut the lead to eleven but that's as close as it would get and it grew to a high of 48 points before the final.  The WARHAWKS out scored the Yellow Jackets 30-2 off of turnovers, 32-10 in the paint and 46-13 off the bench.  KJ Evans led the way with 19 points and added 9 rebounds and a pair of steals.  Reggie Hearn finished with a double-double 11 points and 12 rebounds ans the WARHAWKS out rebounded the Yellow Jackets 52 to 33 including 20 to 5 on the offensive boards.  Odegaard finished with 12 points as well.  Quardell Young had game highs of 5 assists and 3 steals.  Jarod Peterson led the Yellow Jackets with 19 points.

Oshkosh downs Stout. Which makes sense, because Stout was on the road...

Platteville and LaX go back and forth several times in the final minute until Cross scores to make it 80-79. LaX got a shot to win, but it missed.

One game left in the first half of the WIAC double round robin:

Stevens Point 7-0
Platteville 6-1
Whitewater 5-2
La Crosse 4-3
Stout 4-4
Oshkosh 2-5
Superior 2-5
Eau Claire 1-6
River Falls 1-6

Games Wed:

EC @ Oshkosh
WW @ LaX
Sup @ RF
Point @ Platte

"Spectacular" but not it may not be particularly helpful when we get into a nip and tuck game.  The 26 points scored by Superior in the first half is the most that we've given up in a half during this stretch.  I'm expecting the LaCrosse game to be more competitive.

Yes, but if they keep beating teams by 30, then they won't HAVE a nip and tuck game...

I don't know what to do about this Stout team.......

Is it the talent? Coaching? Effort? Personality?....... A Curse?

Year after year after year this team wins games against the best in the nation and then loses games to the worst in the conference. How is this possible? How can we get consistency? Sometimes this team is the best team to watch with the way they play as a team and individuals, and other times I would rather go watch an 8th grade girls game. I just don't know what to think about this team and it is frustrating yet again.........

Good wins by Point and Whitewater again. Another heart breaker for LAX, but a big win for Platt to stay in 2nd.

Spent some of weekend officiating 8th girls basketball teams.  I understand the Blue Devils are frustrating you Stoutfan1 but after what I saw this weekend you may want to reconsider.  ;)

How does this +/- work--not on a BB stat sheet, but for this message board?  I see some guys on the CCIW board with thousands of plus/minuses.  They must be unemployed.

If someone likes your post, they can applaud it. If they don't, they smite it. Back in the day, it was +/- for each post. Now, it cumulative. Up until this year, it was a total +/-. They didn't separate the 2. It would just show +200 instead of +400/-200.

I think you have to have a certain number of posts before you can utilize the feature.
