Luckily they can only smite you once every 24 hours! :-). They have the internet in Florida, watch live games..for free at Stout from what I hear!

I will watch but the playoffs, I think, are off limits.  Regarding the FREE Stout video, if anyone watched it yesterday, give me a take on how it was.  I talked a buddy of mine into doing the play by play.  It was his first shot at it, but I'm guessing it went well.

I thought it went pretty well.  There was an occasional view with a lifted hoop in the way on one camera, but overall video quality was good.  I thought the announcer on the call when Royston was hammered was a little homerish--can't get those on the road---when he was pounded in front of the Titans bench--but otherwise not too bad.  They could also benefit the visitor fans if they'd use the last names of the players from Stout periodically.

And the price was right !!  :)

Karma points are silly.

WARHAWKS: 77
Superior: 44

This game was over as quickly as it started when Eric Bryson drained consecutive three-pointers on the WARHAWKS first two possesions igniting the  WARHAWKS on a 11-1 run over the first three minutes of the game.   After that the Yellow Jackets would get no closer and the WARHAWKS lead grew to it's first half high of 26 points, 45-19 when the half time buzzer sounded.  Bryson led all scorers with 17 points including 5-6 from beyond the arc.  As a team the WARHAWKS went 9 for 11 on three point attempts.  All sixteen WARHAWKS making the trip saw playing time.  Though there were only two turnovers separating the teams the WARHAWKS had a 16-4 scoring advantage off of them.  Twenty two points is as close as Superior would get in the second half.

Bryson finished with 18 points.  KJ Evans added 16.  Quardell Young's 9 assists were a game high.  Reggie Hearn's 8 rebounds were a game high as was his 3 steals.  Alex Merg also recorded 3 steals.  Evans and Cody Odegaard each pulled down 7 rebounds.  The WARHAWKS finished with a 24-6 advantage off of turnovers and 24-8 off of the bench.

Brian Lindbloom and Jarrod Peterson led the Yellow Jackets with 11 points apiece.  Zach Schradle added 10 points.

LaCrosse comes to Williams Center Wednesday.

Any updates on Coach Miller?

I know he was planning on being out the last two but wasn't sure about going forward.

He was hoping to be back for the LaCrosse game but I haven't heard anything since.

One of my pet peeves that student broadcasters often fall into. I once watched an entire game where the broadcasters only referred to the visiting team by jersey number. Shows a lack of preparation.

But, hey, that's why they're student broadcasters, so they'll learn! I try not to be too critical.

They'll only learn if someone teaches them. One may have to be a little critical in order to do so.

You guys are funny. The guy doing the play by play on the video steam Saturday, aka stoutguy's friend, was a retired high school administator. He was filling in for the normal student that does it aka "Big Country."

There's no teaching that old dog new tricks. But I'll let him know he sounded 20 something again.   ;)

Pointers continue to hold down the #1 spot though the gap with Cabrini has narrowed.  WARHAWKS move up to #3 giving the WIAC two spots in the top 5.

Where did he go this year? I enjoyed his blog.

I'm pretty sure he got a new job and moved to Chicago. He'd been in GB last year.

That shouldn't stop Terry. We don't have a city ordinance in Chicago against blogging. ;)

Agree completely. But I get the sense that not all of them are interested in learning how to be better broadcasters. For some of them, I suspect that it's more a matter of, "Hey, that's not my team, so why should I care about their names?"
