I think Oman was more valuable to Stout than Bryson was to Whitewater.

Oman is very solid player but man i can't get over how disappointing stout and platteville have been this year.  Stout at least had an excuse with injuries but I for one thought the pioneers were a lock to be top 15 team in nation.  I guess the seasons not over and either could get hot this week.

Though they may have had a disappointing season thus far you have to love the optimism in Platteville.  In the D3hoops articles tracking the men and women conference tournament, which is some how linked to the same system used in Platteville,  they have themselves advancing to the championship round of both.  In the women's article they advance to the second round to face a TBD and make no mention of WHITEWATER.  They have stopped short of advancing themselves to the national championship game however.  Optimism has it limits.

I can tell this gets under your skin but schools have the right to put the date of prospective next games on their schedules. If you looked at any other part of that tourney tracker you would have seen many other teams in other conferences doing the same.

Pat I think it's funny and I'm not irritated by it at all.

I think it's more a matter of getting the dates published so fans/parents can make advanced plans. I wouldn't read it as any kind of undue bravado.

The PrestoSports network that links D3Hoops and many other college websites is great for getting scores posted in multiple places, but this is one of the slight drawbacks. Entering data on schedule can have undesired/unintended effects on other schedules.

Sarcasm has its limits in messages too.  ???

Maybe a few  ;D  8-)  ;) would help set the tone and limit misunderstandings.   :-X

Ok, my bad.  I neither meant it sarcastically or was I irritated by it.  I just thought it was funny but obviously I didn't do a very good job of communicating that.  My apologies for creating the misunderstanding.

I was smited twice.  I think that's funny too.

I was the one who noticed Platteville's future scheduling on the Conference tournament page, not BW.

I didn't have a problem with it once you explained it and I'm sure that BW is the same way  :)

JG, I had emailed Pat when I noticed it on the men's page.  I think this is the last I'll mention it lest anyone think that I am irritated.  ;)

Tough 24 hours for some ranked West region teams:

1. UWSP (win)
2. UWW (win)
3. UST (loss)
4. St Olaf (win)
5. Dubuque (won today, but lost 2 other games this week)
6. Whitworth (loss)
7. Pomona Pitzer (win)
8. Colorado College (loss)
9. Augsburg (win)

Dubuque actually only lost once last week, on Wednesday at Buena Vista. They lost to Loras on Wednesday the 12th and then again on Saturday the 19th to Central. So Wednesday's loss was 3 in a row.

I presume Dubuque will stay ahead of Whitworth but Colorado College may drop out. I don't think St. Olaf will jump St. Thomas despite the Tommies' loss.

I don't think Dubuque stays ahead... eventually that SOS is going to haunt them.

I thought Dubuque would drop below Whitworth when they lost two straight and they didn't. They were #4 and Whitworth was #6 as St. Olaf did pass them.

LaCrosse and Platteville get wins.  Eagles meet WARHAWKS, Pioneers get Point.
