Superior transfer Ty Ketz led the Red Hawks with 19 points.
Probably better suited for the MWC board, but does anyone know "why" Ketz transferred from Ripon to Superior and then right back to Ripon after just one year at Superior?

No, I have no idea but I noticed the same thing and thought it kind of odd.

Though RF perhaps "should" have beaten Concordia, there were lots of positives:  91 pts., 48% shooting, out rebounding C. by about 15, Pearson's emergence (23 pts.) as a scorer, (he was leading scorer for RF vs. Badgers), two players in double figures off the bench. RF will struggle before the break, but by midway through the conference schedule they should be capable of beating anybody in the top four spots. The defense? Perhaps questionable, but when one guy hits 7/12 threes and scores 30, that's a tuff stat to compete with. Concordia will do well this season.

Might drive down to Green Bay tonight to see the SNC vs. Titans game.  I like the Titans and their new frosh are good players.  Schuldes is more like a high school gym than a college court, so that should help them get comfortable.

Someone on the MWC board said something about academics and credits transferring/not transferring for Ty Ketz.

Oshkosh 32-30 at half.  SNC eating up the offensive boards for big early lead, but Titans fought back with the 3 ball and driving scores.  Paint fouls an issue for both team bigs

We'll see how good they are by the amount of playing time they see....  Guessing Boots (and maybe Wittchow) will be the only one that sees significant court time.

Platteville loses 75-74. Down by 15+ to start the game. Pioneers had a shot to win at the end.
Pioneers looked slow and unathletic.
Oshkosh looked good but Juckem was out-coached tonight.
Seems like the WIAC has a long way to go.

I asked the same type of question on the MWC board and was told that many of his credits didn't transfer at Superior so he came back to Ripon. Sounds like he has been welcomed back with open arms although I would think coaches and players may not have been too excited. Seems like he is fitting in well again.

Watch for Omeke and Johnson to get some minutes this season.
