Didn't see this anywhere else on the board -- Bo Ryan has been elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, according to the Baltimore Sun. He'll be inducted along with Allen Iverson, Yao Ming, Tom Izzo and others not named in the article.

I think after the ceremony they should film the four of them having dinner together. I'd watch it.

Congrats to Bo, one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time.

Looks like conflicting reports out there then.....  I had heard group included Izzo, Iverson, Yao Ming and Shaq, but no Ryan.

According to a California Bears  blog  California assistant coach and former UW guard Tracy Webster is a leading candidate for the UWM  job. Sorry I can't figure out how to post a link.  I've got a smartphone but a dumb person is using it.   ;D

Semling was talking about next year and guys returning/not returning on his radio show....he commented about how hard he recruited Devin Yurk and how everybody in the conference wanted him...also talked about him just playing intramurals for a couple years...but he said that Yurk wasn't playing his senior season for La Crosse, basically pursuing other life opportunities....didn't say transferring but concentrating on studies.

Maybe Yurk will go star opposite Calahan Skogman in a musical Broadway show?   ;)

Whitewater picked up commitments from Sun Prairie 6'1" PG Sam Kerr and Harford 7'0" Center Noah Kaminski....Either Whitewater is having a lot of turnover on the roster or they are going to have a huge roster.

La Crosse has gotten a nice little pipeline going with Milwaukee Marquette.  They picked up commitments from 6'7" Lane Van Rueden and 6'4" Nolan Wright to go with Ben Meinholz who they got last year all from that school.  Is Job Alexander next??

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau senior Lucas Scherr (6-4) plans to attend UW La Crosse and play basketball for coach Ken Koelbl.....
