Stout: 153-119 (56%)
I think Stout's opponent's winning percentage could be misleading. I didn't even include Silver Lake's 2015-2016 record because I couldn't find it.

Silver Lake was 10-23 last season.

If you don't want to look up the link above, RF was paced by Pearson w/25 pts., 11 reds. Herink, a transfer from Mankato got about 12, and Clay Seifert, a transfer from Bemidji, came off the bench and got the put back at the end of regulation time to tie it.

Grant Erickson had 16, including 9/10 free throws, and Devin Buckley got about 16. The fifth starter, Coplin, a freshman, got 8.

RF started 2 seniors, 2 juniors, and a freshman.

Eau Claire loses 70-65 to Winona St in an exhibition game tonight.  Definitely a solid showing out of the Blugolds.

Point's Purple/Gold game is tomorrow. I'm expecting a full report from the usual suspects.

Ha, I'll do my best.

I did want to mention that what most people have thought coming into this season seems to be ringing true.  This conference should be a tight battle and very deep with 6 quality teams.  The exhibitions against D2 teams have been good results for the WIAC thus far.  Point beat both Duluth and Michigan Tech.  River Falls beat Duluth.  Eau Claire had their chances and lost a tough one to Winona St.

Let's hope that the non-conference results are "back" to what we've gotten used to.

Gold beats Purple last night 66-51.

Double figure scorers include Bublitz with 22, Mark Nelson with 11 and Nate Dodge with 11.  There were a couple more players with 8 a piece as well, if I remember correctly I think that was Fredrickson and Zuiker.

Dang it. I had Purple +12. Maybe my bookie will let me go double or nothing on the NFL Pro Bowl.
