Thanks for the report jaybird! I'm guessing this is Rhodes' first season using the System,  or their version of it?

I'm in my early seventies and also remember Porter.  Brian Carroll certainly does too.

I can't explain La Crosse's shocking loss at Luther.  Maybe when Brian recovers from our turkey day feast, he will have thoughts.

I am one of the few posters, perhaps the only one, who remembers seeing Terry Porter play for Point. He was a great player and at one time was an assistant coach for the Timberwolves.

Also the Milwaukee Bucks head coach.

RF over Redlands 81-58. Pearson, Herink, Buckley had 19, 14, 12 pts. respectively. Erickson had 11 assists.

Last, but not least, Eau Claire comes back from a 6-pt halftime deficit and outscores Wash U by 20 in the 2nd half for the huge win.

Massey conference rankings pretty accurate for this early... Whitewater River Falls Eau Claire.

Should have added that Ericsson had no turnovers to go with the 11 assists, the most recorded in a single game in 15 years.

UST loses to Augsburg, 76-70, and they're still ranked in the middle of the top 25? Hello! Earth calling rankers! Can you hear me?

Is it really the Arseneault System used by Grinnell, or is it some other form of run-and-gun (e.g., the Westhead style)?

We are getting closer to a System team vs. System team matchup, which would be fascinating.

I'm not sure two teams can both execute the System at the same time. The System predicates itself on defensively allowing easy 2's if the press is broken, but also shuns taking too many 2-point shots offensively. It seems like one team would have to play the role of the non-System team until they get a chance to turn it around and make the other team act as the non-System team. It'd be a weird tug-of-war all night.

I wonder if Grinnell and Greenville would want to play each other or not.
