70-57 with 1:50. SP has outscored Whitewater by about 20 in the second half.

Wow...embarrassing loss today. Wtf

Thanks for the compliment! Point holds on 75-69.

Point was up 75-62 with just 23 seconds to go, but Whitewater score 7 points to make it interesting. Embarrassing loss for sure. Point didn't deserve the win or it's 5-0 conference record, even though they beat River Falls on the road and Whitewater lost to them at home.

Not looking for it, but expecting it after such a drawn out investigation.  Suggests systemic issues but we shall see.  😕

Listened to the WW post game show and Pat Miller commented that the WIAC is very balanced this year. I agree, in the past week RF beats P-ville, Osh beats RF, then P-ville beats Osh. Also P-ville beats LaX then LaX beats RF. Platteville has made it half way through a tough stretch 2-1, but at SP on Saturday and at WW next Wednesday if they go 1-1 I will be happy. This season reminds me of the late 80's and the 90's with Dick Bennet at SP, Bo at Platteville, Augie at WW and every game was a battle.

You have an obsession...what is this, about your 15th post referencing UWSP and a "death penalty."  I know Point is hated by everyone else in the league, but get over it.

Without any knowledge whatsoever of the intricate details the NCAA/UWSP are working through, I'm not sure there is any case that UWSP gets the "death penalty". That type of blow to a NCAA Division III school is not only unprecedented but also from my point of view, unwarranted. We are talking about a non-scholarship

It is totally possible though that those involved get "show cause" penalties and heavy fines/exclusions for multiple years in the tournament are rained down. But again...what do I know?

The WIAC does seem like its level of talent across the board has risen this year, with it feeling more like the BIG TIME conference it used to be. I get the feeling that teams are expecting to win games at home and hoping to pull one out on the road, similar to how you see things done in the DI-Big Ten, Big East or SEC. I know that hasn't been the way it has exactly played out with UWSP winning road games...but it does seem like its moving in that direction. Close games are going to be played across the board this year...should be interesting after the half way point to see how things are shaking free.

Death penalty is *not* unprecedented in Division III, but I can't imagine what comes out at UWSP comes anything close to this:

You wouldn't be the first to say that, for sure.

I'm surprised by you not giving your guys the credit they deserve.  From where I sat it appeared they deserved to win last night.

You missed the sarcasm. I was commenting on 02warhawk's take on the game...which was a little ridiculous.
