I think I'm coming to Point.

Darn it...game's on Sunday. Won't make it...unless I skip my son's roller skating birthday party.

He'll have another birthday next year!

Explain that one to my wife. LOL

I'd like to see John explain that one to his wife. ;)
go to the birthday party and hope they have wifi

It would also be frowned upon if I was on my phone the whole time, especially while roller skating.  ??? :P :D

None of my children were born during basketball season (at least once games begin). I made sure we didn't HAVE to have this conversation!

GOT BALLS? PLAY FOR THE FALLS!

Watched the Oshkosh at Point game Friday and walked away thinking MJ Delmore was a flopper.  Another slide in play just before half today vs. River Falls confirms that.  Has a unique way of dragging a leg to take/get undeserved fouls both as a defender and as an offender.  Effective but causes mild irritation, unless you are a Dawg fan.  Reminds me of the Showalter kid who played for Wisconsin in this regard.

Delmore carried Point on Friday--and will have to do so today to beat this pesky River Falls team.  23-21 RF at half.

If he is able to sell the foul how is that undeserved??

At any rate, Point WIAC champ 59-44 over RF

Any chance UWRF gets an at-large bid to the NCAA tourney?

Despite a 18-9 record, UWRF has an impressive resume 9-1 in non-conference, top 5 SOS in D3 including wins over Platteville, St. Olaf, Carthage, and Carleton, and playing best basketball right now making the WIAC championship game in the toughest league in the nation. Falcons sitting at Pool C bid rank #10 before today's game - can't imagine that going downward past #21 which is the number of Pool C bids.

Oshkosh made it at 17-10 last year? Falcons are in right!!!???

Hr sells and sells and sells it....kinda like Crazy TV Lenny.  WIAC ref Peter fell for it Friday night, multiple times.  My point is MJ gets too many of these calls. Wow, he had a great tourney regardless.

Good luck to Point in the tourney.

Delmore was great, killed us on threes. Baushelt and crew, picked to ref championship game by evaluations throughout the season, are not letting any player scam the system.
Good luck to Point. Game was ugly with 19 t.o. by RF, 16 by SP and low shooting percentages by both. Defense was tough both sides. RF had a very good season, but do not think they can get in with 9 losses, including one to Stout.

It doesn't look good for River Falls. They have a pretty poor 18-9, .667 record. That's about as bad as you can get to be considered. They do have an outstanding SOS at .586 and their results vRRO is at 10 games. However, they are only 3-7 in those games. They are 2-1 vs Platteville but a combined 0-5 v Oshkosh and Stevens Point. 5-5 may have gotten them in.

FWIW the LaCrosse job is posted. This may be SOP after any "interim" coach's immediate tenure is up.

WIAC POY?

Duax
Herink
Boots

Duax seems to be the obvious choice here - any arguments against this?

Should be announced soon

Greek Tragedy

For what it's worth, math wiz Fantastic50 and the Hoopsville crew have River Falls in the tournament.

Duax would be my guess as well.

Duax is the safe MOP bet, with Platteville winning the league.

If this was an MVP contest, Boots relative value to Oshkosh is an interesting discussion, if you look a these teams on a with and without basis.

Not as important as team success.
