I realize I haven't been very active on this board since I moved to warmer climes but is there even an Oshkosh poster/fan here that wants to brag about their team? That said the Titans recent run is reminiscent of the great Pointer teams from 2004-05. While not in the same zip code defensively as that UWSP team was, the Titans boast more offensive diversity and firepower than that Point squad. While they don't have the superstar players like Kalsow and Bennett, any one of their starting five is capable (and has this year) of scoring 20 or more in any given game. Should be an excellent game tonight against Swarthmore, hope Oshkosh becomes the fourth member of the WIAC champions club!

Speaking as someone who peruses an awful lot of boards on this site, I think that I can state with a fair amount of accuracy that there is no school in D3 outside of the UAA schools that has a lower poster-to-athletics-success ratio than does UW-Oshkosh in terms of the sports that have boards on d3boards.com. (Pat, who monitors every board, may differ with me on that, though.) The Titans are good at almost everything, and yet they get very little support on d3boards.com. Even their football success hasn't roused much activity in terms of UWO posters; the WIAC football board is still almost completely a de facto UW-Whitewater chat room.

There's one long-time faithful poster for UWO who appears in several different places, and that's cubs. (And kudos to cubs for flying the UWO flag so long and so well.) There's also Voice of the Titans and UWO Titans 78 (exclusively a football poster), neither of whom is extremely active, and that's basically it.

Honestly, I don't know how accurate calling cubs an Oshkosh fan really is. Back in the day, I always associated Mr. Downtown and cubs as our resident Titan faithful. I think cubs was offended one time when I called him an Oshkosh fan. He can correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, if he's not actually a UWO fan, he's done an outstanding job of covering Titans sports since practically the very beginning of this website two and a half decades ago.

UWO Titan 78

I'm here, and I bleed black and gold. I don't post as much as I read (mainly because I don't watch as many games as I wish I could). I thought the Titans were phenomenal yesterday. I've posted a few times here that this is the most balanced team I've ever seen in Oshkosh. Tim Dworak was probably the best player I've seen at Oshkosh, but 1-5 this is the best team (and 6-8 come in and compete too). Last year's loss to NWU was difficult to swallow, and from what I've seen of Swarthmore, this game will be up for grabs. I've talked about the lack of fan support for all Titans sports. That changed a little last week with very nice crowds at Kolf. Hopefully that will change and we will see some more posters as well. I follow all Titan sports closely, but with three HS kids playing sports and living in the Chicago burbs, I don't get to be as close to the programs as I would like. When I showed up in Oshkosh in 1990, it was a baseball school (with track success as well). Great to see the football and basketball success of recent years. Hail Titans!

Is there a link to the video of the Championship game? I pull up a link to the game from D3hoops and there's no video on this CBS website they send you too. Saw the All Star game but no title game being shown. Can anybody help?

Like houdini I just get a black screen. I have another window open before you posted the link and it's the same address as the one you posted. Nothing but a black screen with the words Swarthmore vs Wisconsin- OshKosh Division III Championship.

So as a last resort I tried it in Internet Explorer, that popped up an error that said stream not available on this platform then it went to some studio show.   I tried it on my phone and it worked... apparently PCs are obsolete.

It's coming on TV at 11 PM tonight on the CBS Sports Network which I get on my cable lineup,so I'm not going to look at my computer at scores or updates. I'll just watch it then and watch the Players Championship golf tournament now, which I was taping for later.  ;D

Congratulations Titans,  job well done!
As a former program volunteer it makes me extremely happy to see you bring home the title.
