"A membership to North River Yacht Club paid for by the school. Oats would be responsible for any other expenses."

Didn't his Maranatha Baptist contract give him a membership to Milwaukee's premier yacht club, as well?

Gregory Sager

No, but it did give him a membership in Watertown's premier yacht club, the Horicon Marsh Canoeing Association.

Portage 6'4" Wing, Eli Considine will decide between UWSP and Wheaton tmw.  Very good athlete along with averaging around 25 ppg for a bad team.  Ranked 41st in the wissports senior rankings.  If he is paired with Mayson Hazaert in UWSP's class that would be a very solid 2/3 combination.

Apparently UWSP is looking for an assistant coach, I assume it is a 2nd assistant to go along with Hockett...considering his wife just got the head of PE at UWSP and that being the reason he left Duluth...but something to monitor.

Unless the assistant coach posting is actually because Hockett is taking over and they need a new assistant??  I don't think that's likely.  I would agree that no news is good news for UWSP and Semling.

Yeah, I'm sure as a state school that they could not do that.

A couple WIAC commitments I came across that weren't really announced...

Jaden Kreklow of New Glarus committed to Platteville.  He's a 5'10' PG that had a great playoff run that ended in a D4 State Championship, ranked 34th in the Wisconsin Senior Player Rankings.

Also, Jamer Shrumm of Farmington(MN) will play at River Falls.  Haven't looked for any info on him but he's a 6'1" Guard.

6'4" Appleton East F, Kaden Clark, has committed to UWSP.  Had a solid senior year playing in the always tough Fox Valley.

Well, what they can and cannot do has been something of a fluid situation of late, right?

(Sorry, someone had to do it.)

What is the latest at Oshkosh?  Sims has made.spme.bad programmatic decisions.at UWO, but it takes very little grey matter to make this one.  WOTS is Sims wants "his guy" even though a Natty doorstop resides on Kolf.  Maybe Lewis to Calvin instead.

There's all sort of set time periods that the job has to be available, before interviews and decisions can be made.  I don't know the timeline, but the public schools take a little longer than private schools typically take for this process.

I was basically told there was no way this would be official until May at the earliest for the reasons Ryan pointed out. Being it is a state school, they have to go through certain procedures that take time.
