Hamline not very good: young (one senior), small, and with a coach who picked up back to back technicals and got the boot by Casey Eckert.

According to PbP, Beloit hits two FTs with 6 seconds left to take the lead by one. Whitewater looks to have hit a jumper at the buzzer to win 95-94 in four OTs.

1.7 seconds left, WW got the inbound, the Beloit clock operator (in my opinion) started things a bit late - even then, it's unclear if the shot got off on time, but they counted it and it's over.

We won ugly.  That's pretty much all I have to say about that.

Someone might mention to the scoreboard operator that college basketball does not have 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th periods.  Overtime is a continuation of the second half so  the period remains at 2.  I know it's insignificant in the scope of things but as a scoreboard operator it bugs me.

I probably should just be grateful we won.  That was far from a given.

For people who tune in late in the game online, those extra period indicators are quite helpful.  The scorebook is the official record.  I don't mind the scoreboard telling the spectators what they need to know.

Still some unpacking to do from De Pere the other night.  Connor Duax and JT Petrie were not in attendance. Brett Wittchow returned from Germany and was in attendance supporting the Titans.

Mahoney and Vlotho joined the starting five. Muench saw a large increase in minutes off the bench and played well. Flynn and Borchert played some minutes together. If I remember correctly, it was mainly in the middle twenty minutes of the game.

Duax has been removed the roster online. Will have to watch closely if Petrie returns in Atlanta.  Looks like Duax, a 30 point championship weekend player the year prior, does not return for the second semester of his junior season.

Very interesting. It's hard to imagine a player missing a game, be removed from the online roster a few days later, and then return to the team after the holiday break.
