UWSP, UWP, UWW and UWL all watching the Badger Conference clash between Reedsburg and Deforest tonight.  I'm sure they are all there to fight over Reedsburg's Will Fuhrmann.  Fuhrmann will be a really good player at the D3 level.  He's most likely Platteville's to lose as his father was a Pioneer.

This post ages me I remember watching Will's Dad Ryan, play on Platteville's 1998 National Championship team.

Stevens Point has their work cut out for them in the next two games. They travel to La Crosse to take on the #17 Eagles, who have one loss all year. Next week they take a trip to #9 Platteville, who also have just one loss on the year.

Ards, 29 pts., 19 rebounds, almost won it for WW, but had little support. This WW team has less talent than any I can remember, going all the way back to J.P. Fisher in the 50's.
RF played a good first half, a shaky second one. WW was very shaky first half, better second half. Still, they could have won it. Vast difference in shooting percentages favoring RF, and in rebounds, favoring WW.

It's all about shooting. Point looked like league champs vs. RF just a few days ago. Shot the lights out. At Lax? Totally different. Lax did not look good vs RF, but had a late surge to win. Why didn't they look good? Did not shoot well. That's oversimplified, but it's tough to beat hot shooting. To me, the Point loss to Lax is the biggest surprise today.

It was a surprise for the 17th ranked, 12-1, La Crosse Eagles to hold serve and win at home over an unranked and 3 loss UWSP squad??  You've watched UWSP once this year at UWRF I take it.
