Good catch, I saw Stout basketball tweeted out their "bat signal" that they received a commitment...but I didn't see who it was.

Just realized after watching the first half of Platteville/Point...former Cuba City PG, Brady Olson, has transferred from D2 Parkside to play at Platteville.  He was highly sought after in high school and is a good get for the Pioneers, should play a bunch of minutes for them starting next year.

Really good effort by Point tonight. Had the lead pretty late at Platteville, but some turnovers and empty possessions late and Platteville made their FTs to seal it.

Whitewater didn't have much in the second half and kinda got blown out at River Falls. Payne 20 and Hanson 19 for Falcons. It appeared the Warhawks were without head coach Miller for this one.

La Crosse won at Eau Claire in another stellar game for Ethan Anderson.

With the addition of Brady Olson Platteville has a 10 player rotation. They seem to  wear oponents down and they own the last 6 to 7 minutes of the game. Last night SP played with Platteville but towards the end Platteville got the lead  then expanded it to a 11 point win?

WARHAWKS: 60
River Falls: 76

The WARHAWKS were able to hang with a hot shooting RF team for the first half by shooting relatively well themselves and making an extra three point basket.  Down three 36-33 at the break things went south. RF started shooting even better while the WARHAWKS fortunes went in the opposite direction.  The Falcons built the lead to double figures after five minutes where it pretty much remained for the remainder of the game.  Carter Capstran led the WARHAWKS with 15 points.  Derek Gray didn't shoot well but finished with a double/double 14 points, 11 rebounds.  Back in the lineup Elijah Lambert scored 11.

Next: LaCrosse @ WHITEWATER Wednesday

I was impressed with how many young talented players Whitewater has. Their future looks bright. If they had a dominant player in the middle they would be  Very difficult to beat. As it was the Falcons had to shoot their best so far this season in order to win at home.

MESSAGE TO RECRUITS:  IN DOUBT? ENROLL AT STOUT. DON'T CARE? GO TO EAU CLAIRE. AT A LOSS? TRY LACROSSE. FEELIN' OUTTA JOINT? YOUR PLACE IS POINT. DON'T LIKE THE REST? DO WHAT'S BEST!

GOT BALLS? PLAY FOR THE FALLS!

Point at La Crosse scheduled to go up against the Packers. Brutal for all involved in that game.

I've been encouraged by the growth we've shown as a team this year.  Hopefully we can continue to get better, add a piece here and there and get back to competing for championships.

Platteville billing tonight's big game as "for the first time this century, Williams Fieldhouse and Bo Ryan Court will see a clash of two Top 5 teams". It appears the game is on tonight. Now, who is and is not available for Oshkosh could be a big story early to watch during warmups and when the starters are announced, mainly because Oshkosh is really good, but not that deep.

Well...Stevens Point sucks...but they got a big commit tonight from Big Foot 6'3" G/F Augustus Foster.  He's having a huge senior year.  Foster is currently ranked 46th in the state of Wisconsin's senior rankings on wissports.

Oshkosh defeats Platteville in Platteville 83-67. Everyone was available, somewhat surprisingly, coming back from the covid pause. Five Titans in double figures.

I don't remember this in the past from Platteville, but the replay is password protected. Please let fans watch your games on demand Pioneers!
